Ep 7, when SY and XQ having that scene of eating fried chicken at that little shop and when SY look at XQ, I was thinking that angle of filming must be done by a male director - showing from a male perspective of how a man looks at woman and perceive attractiveness. I wonder that scene may be filmed differently by a female director. hmmm.

I guess in drama, it’s dramatized that FL’s strength in profession has yet been translate to her relationship. So I am waiting to see her grow. She handles SY’s sister situation quite well, that was a a good pet talk she gave.

Best explained ‘love at sight’ period! Or script say so. 🤣

Yup, a few of us mentioned. Initially I was confused, thinking YPY retired to be SY…as a fire fighter. lol!

yeah, her indecisiveness and wishy-washy attitude can be a turn off. But this drama is also about her growth and find herself, so hopefully, she will get better as ep progresses. Are you dropping this?

Yes, the plot line may seem typical, a young girl crush to an older guy (her brother’s best friend) and pursuing her romance as adult. But what is unique here is the two main leads’s character. The FL has an unwavering pure love that grows over time, her personality makes her strong and likeable and not at all cringy. ZLS done an amazing job portraying the character, cute and adorable yet mature and pure in essence. Then we have ML, who as like many ML has a traumatic back story and never believe in love, yet the entry of FL makes him believe in it. Its definitely a simple story with not much surprises and torment, which is good because in this days, there are too many angst in romance drama, if you know what I mean. The sweet scenes are also well filmed with the leads capturing the fluffiness yet not over the top dramatic. And of course the FL has the most healthy and modern family relationship and fantastic sibling’s relationship that is just not in real world, but I love it as it’s drama where we fantasize. lol! To me the director has compile all the good element of a pure genuine love story and make it a story that works for me. Apology for the long post. Just sharing my thoughts.

Now is to see the battle between GJS and his three brothers against LZS. GJS’s uncle is quite insightful and gave GJS good advice. Excited to see how this will be resolved.

Yes, it was messed up. Hopefully it’s fix soon. I understand Chinese, so still able to enjoy the ep. It’s a very good one with purest dialogue of two young lovers.

I have lots of ‘what if’s’ for this ep: what if CJM warm LSS about DiMian, what if the two fathers were also warned and be more cautious and work together to fight DiMian, what if GYJW is not so dumb and blinded by his own ego; what if NBY tells CJM of his difficulties and figure out how to help his sect people and not just kidnapped him…I still remember when watching to this ep., nearing the end, I was anticpating the ending of the leak script I read. And I was hopeful back then.

RIP Coco🙏🏻❤️ It’s sad as she is a great singer.
