Most of us here all feel that MX should be with CWD, better match in personality. And CWD definitely will take care and protect MX well.😍

GJS is visionary and has wits, but because he see no gain in chasing power hence he chooses to enjoy his life in carefree manner.

At least it’s nice to see that CWD and MX had some moments to share their past. And MX seems to be slightly touch by CWD and starting to see who CWD really is. CWD didn’t stop MX even though he knew MX is planning to escape, he even show love and kindness. Possibly allowing MX to rethink who she wants to be with.

I guess the drag is to show us how CWD despite knowing MX’s plan to escape, yet he didn’t stop her and still try to be kind and attempt to convince her about his love. Truly a gentleman in this way to MX.

Thanks for sharing your insight. I tried ep 1, and same here I couldn’t complete it. The story wasn’t interesting to me. And as you mentioned, QL is a great actress, however didn’t really feel her here too. Likes her better in historical or Wu Xia genre. I didn’t get to WY part. This story just doesn’t work for me. I will skip it. cya around.

Have you started this? Is the good? Read the synopsis, not so sure about it, office politics. But both leads are great casts.

I do know from some of the video clip released that MX eventually learns to love and care for CWD. I am staying in to see how they are going to progress to that from the current ‘left over’ romance between WJG and MX. Just hope they don’t make WJG worst of a character from here.

It’s nice to see the mother - daughter pair again. Love them in LLTG, and sure their chemistry is as good here.
