Guys, the first few episodes were boring, but I hope it gets better.
That’s my only concern with this drama. I can trust Gu Man’s screen play for writing a relatively good romance story, but not with this director. He is not known for romance drama, actually this is his first experience on romance, so I wonder how he will develop the scenes, atmosphere and camera angle which are all so important in romance drama😓. i honestly not feeling it yet even for the FL and SML…hmmmm.
Usually in love triangles you can't help but love the 2nd ml. But in this drama it is the opposite haha.
I agreed with this observation. The SML is quite pitiful in a way. And I believe his character is as such with very poor communication skills hence he was also attracted to FL. But well he won’t make it as we know who is the ML here😅.
I am here because this is Gu Man’s screenplay…I am unsure about this pairing CP, but will watch and find out. Hopefully this will be fluffy warm for the cold winter.

It was not explained in details, but hinted that the old guy with unrequited love with Princess eventually married someone else and thousands of years later FL’s family came about. Yup, that point was not explained.🤷🏻♀️

Agreed with you. It would be over much sooner, however some characters are rather inconsistent in their action and behaviour…and definitely plot holes everywhere.😓

This was a tough one for me, 2025 has a couple of drama that surprises me. But my final verdict will be the first XianXia I watched for 2025, “The Blossoming Love”, it was Sun ZhenNi first FL’s role, I am never a fan of that ML’s acting. However that drama, the story and acting was beyond my expectation. The plot is not uncommon but I like how it was done and I discovered Wang Duo, the grey villain that also holds his role well;).
This is a literal case of “鹬蚌相争，渔翁得利”. XHA is so busy with plotting to kill YHS, he wouldn’t see this coming and as YHS said XHA biggest weakness is that he is too fixated on revenge and missing crucial background happening. So we have the final arc, the next 8 ep on how is XHA going to save Chang An. No dull moments.

Yup, WYL really can act, huge potential and such versatility in her acting range. But sadly she won’t gain much popularity because she is not the pretty lady type😓.

So far the drama seems to remove the prosthetic leg plotline. It only shows that he has severe injury on his legs and needed a long period of time to rehab and then able to walk properly.
