Just done with three ep. Rethinking whether I like or don’t like this. I have watched previous k drama and c drama with similar plot, older woman and younger man’s romance, however felt this one the young man feels too much like a boy. Although these two MLs have good storyline. I just feel that I cannot see them together as a couple. It’s just me, lol! But I love the character’s work role and how they deal with difficult situation as individuals. Wonder would I continue.?

I have the same feeling when I first watched it. Kept wondering why the drag and felt that the story can be told faster, and with better editing, the series would end at ep20. Lol! But maybe my personal expectation. As when I read the book I control the pace, less dramatic. But So far I like the treatment of Shi Qiang, Ye Wen Jie and Shen Yu Fei. Wang Miao’s reaction initially was too over the top for me, but at least in the later ep, his character became more grounded.

I see…thanks for sharing. If so much changes, no wonder the author wanted to disown it;) So far the changes made seems to work. Every cases have tighter plot and characters are believable. Quite enjoy the first 10ep, like the brotherly friendship. If it keeps at such pace, it will be good. Wonder how the background story will turn out.

The first 10 episodes were good. Great suspense, captivating mystery and the leads have good acting skills, portrayed the characters well. Despite the editing, the story still flows well. IMO, Worth a watch.
