Happy ending. But you will have to endure till the end;)

It’s a good attempt for a mini series. And easy to binge as every ep is about 15mins.l with only 18ep.
If you want to pick on loop holes in the storyline, definitely there will be. However for such a small production, yet they bother to put effort on costume, make up, fight scenes and of course the romantic scenes are quite sensually filmed.
Although the plot and motives are simplistic and at times a bit silly. The intention was pure make it easy watch and interesting at some points. The ending plot twist was a good attempt, although wish they have more time to develop it. The characters acted as they were suppose to. It’s a happy ending for all.
Not my usual watchlist but satisfied with overall treatment.

Checking in…after a long while. A good piece of drama will linger and worth my effort to remember. I observed there will always be people who likes and dislikes this drama. Well we are all entitled to our opinion and i love these comments to give us opportunities to learn things we missed out or watched with subjective opinion. My thoughts are, before you hate something, give it a chance to reveal its underlying story, follow the characters with an open heart and you will realise whether it’s LX, ZY, FZJ, ZLN or GJH, their characters’ ark make sense and its impressive for a group of young actors/actresses to portray it well and get us carry away with it. Many after seeing first few ep hates LX, means he handles the character well. Lol. Many had watched on without regrets but of course dropped it if it’s not your cup of tea. So far 3 ep., pacing seems good. Acting also believable and plot is engaging. Except that the actress that acted Shi Qi has a more confident and decisive character, then after she was swap face, wonder why her character became weaker. Maybe because the actress that acted as Shen Qing has a more damsel in distress look.

Many have recommended this title, should I start this? Rating seems high.

Completed ep 30, I must say that I am overall satisfied with how it was done. Pretty true to the original works.
Ending scene, I am very sure the guy on his laptop is Lou Ji, the main character for second book, setting up for second season.

Ep 28, Shi Qiang rocks! His plan to attack on Evan’s ship using his cigar metaphor. Wang miao’s nano tech in action.
Dehumanizing the ETO, that’s not in the book, but I guess that makes it easier for the audience to accept such massive brutal attacks on them. But then again, so many people on board of the ship are innocent!

I really love the effort and thought put in creating each the beautiful scene and it’s detailed set up of the crime scene. The director and production team done well in creating logical sets for investigation.

Just finished ep 19 and 20. Wow, can see the King is rising to use his authority. I can see eventually the 4MLs will team up to fight the evil FL villain.
I kind of feel surprised and sad to know Minister Tao’s secret and him meeting his death. Guess that’s where ZP has to continue to investigate the stuck case.
This is fast, 9 more ep to end, hopefully no cliff hanging ending.

Somehow ZP and LJ are bound, they can’t helped bumping into each other and LJ can’t help having to again and again rescue ZP😅.

Yup, LJ overcome his struggles through the cat that ZP rescued. ;) ZP and LJ needs each other, whether is solving crime or support. Super brotherly team!

Ep 16, LJ had hallucination of a cat, is that a metaphor on ZP being the annoying disturbing yet adorable cat🤣.
