I love book 2, ‘Dark forest’, how humanity gathered force to fight back. I personally felt book 3 is like an additional side note or extension story, as the story can end at book 2. Personal preference, first two books are the best;) for me.

I feel that the script written here had to downplay the commander’s background and history, so it diluted her motives and reasons to destroy human kind.

Nice happy ending. But can’t help to feel sad for the SML. The journey romance between ML and FL was satisfying and genuine. Not a complicated story. The Emperor was funny in his own ways, quite bipolar in emotions. It’s kind of nice that this drama doesn’t take itself too seriously. The only complaint I had is that they could have done better with the FL’s make up as some lighting make her look weird. She is pretty in person however some angle in this drama makes her look ugly.
