Teacher Hu was my least favourite since beginning, but his recent interaction with Bai Man Jun and their relationships, is quite cute. Bai can see all the great points in Hu which he lack confident in.
Finally Damai is back!!! Poor Nana and her back story, a reminder of toxicity in being a public figure. Love that dialogue between Xia Xia and Nana, how he has grown and console her so well.

Some similarities like already mentioned by sweet_dreams, between Hometown CCC and this; however this drama also focus on the side characters and their stories, their communities and modernization to an old town with rich culture and how to preserve that without being destroy by commercialization. The conversations were just fantastic to me, great healing reflection on various theme. So watch with an open heart and enjoy;)

Oh no! Watch it to de-stress, don’t watch it to avoid something….hahahha. Will spoil your experience.

Thanks for pointing that out. Understand the underlying struggles for physicists but just baffled by the over the top reaction. Physicists will be extremely excited of phenomenon that’s beyond understanding and beyond physics that will mean a break through. But anyway this is a drama, I shouldn’t expect much. Only thinking of the representation of responses can be more realistically done.

Then it’s probably not for you. There is romance but probably not the kind you are expecting;) You can try “Hi Venus!”, it’s more straightforward romance focus.

Sharing my thoughts, no intention to convince you to like this drama but wanted to give you more depth before you decided to dropped it completely. Yes, from beginning or many ep., you will see the worst of ML and hate him and felt FL is too weak or constantly bullied. But it’s actually not that case, ML has gone through very difficult past that he developed lack of trust to world or others and always have spike facing the world like a porcupine. Only FL’s kindness and also her ability to understand him, makes him change and allow himself to Open up to others. He does care for people around a lot but uses his own way to help them, sometimes seen as extreme. FL is able to see deeper in his character and because of her belief in him, they became a perfect pair at the end. Won’t give any spoiler, if you watch on, most audience doesn’t regret completing it and actually have a change of opinion. Your choice. Dramas liking are subjective. Cheers.
