As a fellow introvert, I can feel Kano dying inside doing sales and going to these work dinners with clients.š You feel even more like a blackhole when you have a social butterfly coworker whoās working the room like a champ. At least Kano isnāt left isolated in the mirror world, and his conversations with Ogami has helped him humanize Ogami and understand that he too had to work hard to be the salesman he is.š
So ready for this drama. GMMTV is keeping my man Boun booked and busy!!! Truly, I love it for him. I enjoy thrillers and this drama seems to have a similar feel to Manner of Death, which was a treat during the pandemic.š Iām excited to see Boun stepping out in different types of roles and genres and working with different actors. Letās give this one a try!
Iām a bit nervous about next week. Itās looking like the emotional torture arc. I wonder whatās on Il Joās mind.š„ŗ
Jeong In is a great villain! Iāve never seen such malice in a cardigan sweater. I hope to see the actor in large, mainstream productions. Heās quite good!
Teenage casting? They're in their thirties, though.
The actor also doesnāt capture the personality and essence of Il Jo. Younger Il Jo is a bit rugged, sporty, and assertive. People can change, but this feels like a disconnect.
Episode 3: Where do I even begin??? What I love about Il Jo is that although he plays coy and acts submissive, heās not a punk.š Jeong Han crossed a couple lines, and our man Il Jo clapped back and even got his lick in.š„ We donāt see that a lot in this genre. Il Jo is tender but heās also strong. Jeong Han gets to āāplayā with him because Il Jo LETS him. Once itās not fun for Il Jo anymore, the game is over. Araseo??? In the words of Queen Bey, Il Jo said, āYou must not know ābout me!ā Il Jo can get anybody he wants, and thatās why Jeong Han sweats Su Hyo so much.. Jeong Han knows heās lonely in that contemporary 80s shopping mall he lives in.
Why did Tao even get in the car in the first place if he didnāt mean to hit our precious Namo? Where was he going when our man was running for his life in the middle of the street??? I find him even more unlikable than Baikhaw. She canāt help that sheās crazy, but he knows full well what heās doing and itās not who he really is. Tao conspiring to harm people because heās infatuated with a mentally disturbed girl speaks volumes about his self-worth.
May Namo make a full recovery with no lasting issues! Heās so cute and kind. I hate he got involved, but heās chivalrous and wanted to do the right thing. Heās a true friend. Honestly, Iām at the point where Tulip gets what she gets. A hard head makes a soft ssa. Tulip is just one of those people who have to learn the hard way. I donāt know why she still didnāt suspect anything odd about Namoās accident. Thank goodness she saw the intimate photos and dropped that tracker to catch the twin clowns in the act. I was scared sheād even convince herself that Tao and Baikhaw were doing modeling work and practicing CPR.
My girl Wawa got both her eyes back and her skin looks flawless! Tulip better take her out for an expensive dinner and a Sephora shopping spree after what her ignorance put that girl through! Tulip honestly does not deserve Wawa or Namoās friendship and affection!
I think the reason Tulip has split ends for brains is how sheltered her parents kept her. Her goofy mother treats her like sheās still a child and uses her financial support to control her. Tulip doesnāt have any survival skills or character discernment, because she stayed in the house under her parents. She takes everything at face value.
Tulip: š¤Why do all these strange things keeping happening? Who couldāve possibly blocked my dadās number? I live with Baikhaw and leave my phone laying around⦠Was I drunk? Why does Wawa keep brutally hurting herself and hallucinating about an assailant who fits Baikhawās description and whereabouts??? Is she a crackhead?
Baikhaw: š I know. So crazy, right? Yāall do drink a lot, though, so thatās what happened. Iām here if you need me.
Namo: š How can I say this again in a different way to help you comprehend that itās Baikhaw?
Tulip: š„° Nah, thatās my sis.
Tulip lives like an amnesiac! She has me so irritated in these opening 10 minutes.š
I love it so far! Iāve been craving more Thai dramas with a strong FL and wholesome ML. The best part is FL knows how to fight and sheās kind, funny, and still serves the beauty and grace weāre used to seeing in these dramas.
I just want to know if she can thrive at her job without shedding her soul!
Same! Honestly, itās an interesting plot. She didnāt want to work at the tabloid but got transferred there. Now she has to figure out how to make a living in a profession that profits off of exposing peopleās private lives, even when what theyāre doing isnāt always wrong.
I wish Wawa knew Muay Thai.š It was hard seeing my girl go down. Tulip needs to understand that if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, ITāS A DUCK!!! She has zero sense of awareness. Poor Wawa took all the hits.š Now sweet Namo is being targeted. Lord, protect him!š
Tulipās dad has to be the most entitled moron. How is he going to get mad at her for missing his calls and cut ties with her when his blatant affair caused this whole rift in the family? Do women exist to appease him? He and his midlife crisis hairstyle need to go. What a clown!
if kano is treated well by everyone in the office in parallel world isnāt it ultimately all fake because hes…
The way he posed his wish, he wanted to change but it was the world around him that did. Iām wondering if how heās treated in the parallel world unconditionally will help him shift his perspective and change on his own in the real world. Basically, heāll be building relationships without his usual barriers. As a result, he wonāt have the same issues with people. One of his biggest problems is he doesnāt play the social game well and heās very technical, which often is difficult for some IT professionals when they make the jump to client-facing, people oriented roles. Heās hardheaded and doesnāt take feedback well in the real world, which only sets him back more.
Thailand, South Korea has entered the chat!š„ Wow, can I say Iām impressed thus far? The cinematography, acting, and chemistry are high quality. You can cut the tension with a knife! Sheesh! Il Jo has got to be the cutest person Iāve ever seen. He reminds me of Hae Bom from Cherry Blossoms After Winter, but bold and honest about his feelings. This may be the top drama of the season!
Japan will make a drama in a heartbeat thatās simply about work.š Slice of Life work dramas are her specialty. The job or company IS the main character. This drama is no different. Unless youāre here for that, youāll sit at the the edge of your seat waiting for development that never comes.
This drama is about being on the beat and chasing stories for a tabloid. You wonāt see FLās personal life outside of work. I donāt even recall her going home. She has one friend with whom she talks to about⦠WORK. Her mom calls and they talk about⦠WORK. She goes out to eat after WORK and talks and thinks about WORK. If anything, the theme song of this drama should be āWorkā by Rihanna, because FL ā~work, work, work, work, work, workā¦~ā
If youāre looking for romance, cute weekend fun, and drama, you wonāt find it here. BUT! You will get to learn about the tabloid industry, how to navigate internal conflict about the profession, commiserate with FL about work, and get hooked on some interesting āscandalsā that wind up not being as juicy as they hoped.š I really like FL and work dramas, so Iām enjoying it.š
Hui Ju has awful children. Trying to be their friend and letting the in-laws kick her around in front of them definitely degraded their respect for her.
This is a deep and complex plot, and Iām invested. I hope Hui Ju toughens up and puts her foot down with the family.
Woo Jae has my full attention. I canāt wait to see his story unfold. Heās cool and mysterious- hard to read.
Jeong In is a great villain! Iāve never seen such malice in a cardigan sweater. I hope to see the actor in large, mainstream productions. Heās quite good!
And not Taekwondo Terror Hyung coming back with more drama.š© Cease and desist!

That ending is totally unfair if there isnāt a second season!!!š©
Just a theory!
