nice charming time travel drama
Watch it for yourself. It wasn't that bad at all and it wasn't perfect but it was nice charming time travel drama.I like the chemistry between Gu Xue Jiao and Lin Zhi Hua. Before, they didn't seem to like each other and even in the future at that time, Zhi Hua didn't seem to like her? or maybe he didnt get a chance to express how he felt.
After they time time traveled back 10 year before, they both developed a bond while withholding that they are from the future.
Xue Jiao did her best to make sure her family and career was on a better path and she had nothing to worry about. Xue Jiao and Zhi Hua worked theirselves to become a better person for both themselves and work.
I really didn't see why they did Yi Tian Yu like that.... like they should have just let him be a "good guy" but oh well.
We didn't get a wedding, bummer! but there were alot of kissing scenes that made up for that for me personally.
Now on the day sept 5 when they were together, she woke up from a coma and he was at work.
This made me so mad because all their hard work and achievements (even family and friends) didn't happen?????
I ask that because when they went back in the elevator, they held hands and were smiling????
What kind of ending was that????
I still have this a 8/10 because I was pleased up to the ending.

Mother's character development focus, couldnt be anything else
I put this off way too long because of the reviews. Note, they didnt lie - that mom was overbearing, 'red eye', materialistic and couldn't seperate herself from her daughter's life. I know she must have meant well but there was no limit to her craziness.You would think she was the main character of this drama. I caved in and watched it because I like Xu Kai and Yang Zi work. No doubt they had 'good' chemistry and I wish it was more and more focused on them.
I think the ending was a bit rushed. It just didnt give me that happy ending satisfaction and that is just my opinion.
I believe the drama was focus on the mom's character development and it took a while for her to even be a better person.

Episode 8 broke my heart.
I would have given this a 10 if they didn't rush the last 2 episodes.This was a very emotional fantasy drama to watch. The struggles they both went through growing up.
I loved the visuals of this - I think its like cinematic vibes if that is the right term but you will see what I mean.
All the actors ate their role!!!!
The storyline developed so well and I was intrigued to see what comes next.

Fast forward to end, I would have enjoyed this more if they didnt rush the last 2 episodes. I am sure the viewers would have loved to see more in depth about the son and what happened after everything.
If you watch the credits, they showed photos of their years together but still nothing too in depth so that kinda sucked for me.
Overall, it was a great drama.

Short and to the point
Watched it just because.... I was just curious how old that king was because it didn't seem ok LOL. I really like that it was short and to the point. They had some chemistry but I think it was the age different with the character.I love the ending because they met in real life and it seems as most dramas, the king passed in and was reborn and met the girl in her time.

a lot comedic scenes - still love it
Ofc he is back and I am impressed on how they pulled it off. Season 2 was full of comedic scenes and I am okay with that as it distracted me from thinking it was getting drawn out. Don't get me wrong, it is good but the cliffhangers LOL.My first thought is why didnât he go meet her after being in the capital so long? Also, why didnt they show her mourning? (even if she didn't) I was waiting on an update.
There is nothing you can say to make me like the emperor. I just cant stand him LOL.
I am so glad that Fan Xian and Madam Fan continued to have a great relationship.
Episode 27 was hilarious!!! where he was doing a âPowerPointâ presentation in that era.
I cant wait for season 3 to clear up all these cliffhangers!!!

A mixed of historical, comedy, romance & politics
Woooooow! This was a great watch!!! This is my first time watching a drama with Zhang Ruo Yun and he is really good. I like his character, it was giving playful but serious.Guo Bao Kun is such a funny character, I really enjoyed the scene where he got a group of men to help him with his mission. Those scenes were hilarious.
I still dont know how Wu Zhu does what he do lol
I tried my best not to miss anything because I know there is a season 2.
I personally loved how it didn't focus too much on the romance part because it was all about him finding out who killed his mom and he got mixed up with the royal family and that took a turn on his life.
The scenes with him and Si Li Li, you would think he liked her back because he kept looking at her with a caring look and then came along Haitang Duo Duo. This is where I got worried that he may have fallen for her and he won't make it back to Lin Wan Er LOL I lost faith, okay!!!! LOL
I am glad that they have some form of respect and understanding between them. I hope Si Li Li, wont cause any trouble in season 2.

10/10: comedy, romance and happy ending.
Such a nice and easy going King. I have watched a few dramas with Kim Ji Hoon and to be honest, I didn't know he played Yi Seong (no I didn't watch any trailers or anything) I loved his very mature character and voice in this one.Okay!!! This is one of the funniest historical fantasy Kdrama I have seen in 2025. Gang Cheol is such a character LOL oh my gosh. Like it's so funny to see him enjoying some things for the first time being in a human body.
I really love how Yeo Ri and Gang Cheo relationship developed from being enemies to friends to lovers. At one point, I thought she was going to end up with Yun Gap but ummmm well that story ended way too soon. I really didn't expect him to "go" like that.
I won't talk much on Pung San the character because he was like pain in everyone's life.....
I gave this a 10/10 because I got what I was looking for: comedy, romance and happy ending.

Don't get attached to the characters
This one left me a bit speechless. It started off so good and I was getting used to each character. I really loved their bond whether it was family or friends.In the Bamboo pavilion, there was really love LOL such a cliche thing to say because of the title 'Love in Pavilion'.
Who knew what they saw in the future was really going to happen. I had high hopes that they could out smart that fox demon.
I was wondering if I missed something. I thought Dongfang Qin Lan had powers. If so, why did she became so "weak" like she couldn't fight.
Fast forward, it was a bittersweet love story for Huai Zhu and Hong Ye like she had to become his concubine.... that stressed me out and I think I didn't understand fully the reason. One thing about these leads is that they love their family so they will make sacrifices to do what's necessary. I am glad that Huai Zhu is smart and this will make me want to watch part 3 and hoping their child will have a happy ending atleast.

opposites do attract
I had put this off for so long and finally watched it. Tian Xi Wei and Ao Rui Peng were so cute on screen and I wish they showed more of them. They are right, opposites do attract. They both got their right groom. You know a cute romantic drama is not complete with villains lol. Ke Shi Zhao and his accomplices tried ever so hard to set traps for them and ends up failing ever so often.Overall, it was a good watch - light, romantic, no shy business, charming, chemistry and a little comedy.

Longest 46 mins lol
I love a good time travel drama. It started off great but then half way I started getting annoyed by the FL silly childish ways.I laughed so much when they first went through the time travel. I cracked up too when he was there talking to her thinking she was a ghost but she actually had in her earpiece. Eventually, we got to see how their feelings developed for each other and I think their chemistry was good.
I loved the mystery elements of this drama as it keeps you thinking who did that to who...
During the nights, their 46mins together is like the longest lol aint no way you can accomplish so many things LOL!!!
Overall it was an okay watch for me.

slow burn but amazing kissing scenes
Awww they are so sweet. They both liked each other from first sight and it was obvious. The last episode showed how he always showed up in front of her lol just to be seen and impress her but she was already all in even if he wasn't trying to impress her.They were young and though her family was going through something, she didn't understand fully what his job was like. Years later, they met in person again and you could see the instant connection was still there.
It is a very slow burn romance drama but if you love that feel good, real love, mature acting, building a family, then this is for you.

It was just "okay"
Talk about glow up! FL went from this nerdy average looking teen to being gorgeous. I do like that fact that no one really judged her looks and wanted to be her friend. When the ML talked to her, I realised that he was a green flag.This was really too PG for me. It is a very slow burn drama and they had no visible lips kissing scenes and I think that was because of their age.
Overall, it was just "okay".

Love at first sight
It was okay and I am glad it was short lol as it could have gotten boring fast. Why I say it was okay? I have watched a lot of contractual situationship dramas that turned into romance and although we can see they liked each other, it wasnt giving me that intense, omg, cant wait to officially be with you vibes if that makes sense.While I understand they were both hesitant to start a real relationship, the misunderstandings could have been cleared up if they had better communication.
I am a sucker for happy endings that include a wedding and starting a family. I am just happy they got they happy ending.

Everyone is beautiful in their own way
So many messages in this series. The FL had a lot of insecurities about her appearance and the persons around her just didnt realize how it affected her. Despite all the negative comment she got about her looks, she was still strong and tried to push through so it didnt Bother her that much. Facing these type of comments daily can definitely take a toll on you mentally. â¨She getting the bracelet had both positive and negative impact. The positive side is that she was able to help others and the negative was the ML. â¨He was going through it mentally. Mind you, his behaviour around her stemmed from them being in school and it was just a bunch of misunderstandings on both sides.There are a lot of comedy scenes that will make you laugh out.
Fast forward to clearing up everything, they got their happy ending of course.
For the 2nd leads, I loved their interaction and chemistry more.
I think think OST was really nice.
Overall, it was a good drama but not something I would rewatch.

Not your typical Xianxia romance dramas
Not much action in the first few episodes and I was hoping there would be since it was a fight between the D3mon clan and them. â¨I dropped it at episode 19 and after 2 weeks lol I picked it up back. I still think there was something missing and I couldnât put a pin on it. â¨Slowly things just started getting drag after they all left the mountain and then things picked up back a little and we got more actions.â¨No doubt that the leads had chemistry and I feel like we didnât get much of their love journey. I also hopes that the ending would have been better but I understand the concept.For me, it was a great drama but I have watched better Xianxia romance dramas.
