And kinda changed the way they talk about reconciliation too
probably. dumb of them. this isn't some first youth romance, no matter how much they want it to be. for goodness sake, you have the ons and the couple cohabiting before marriage. this is a mature romance. i get they want to lighten it up a bit to draw in a wider audience but let's be real. this is no hs or college romance and they're ruining it by trying so hard to make it one more than halfway through the story.
ep 33 was a sharp turn away from the novel and I'm not thrilled about it. from what I can see of the previews of eps 34 and 35 it seems like they'll again be adding and changing elements from the novel and I'm a bit disappointed tbh. the way the novel handled the fight, breakup, and recoupling was phenomenal and I was really looking forward to seeing that portrayed on my screen by these terrific actors.... oh, well. I guess it wasn't meant to be.
So JX was triggered by the word "suitability"?Isn't this the reason behind her previous breakup? There was love…
suitable makes it seem like he doesn't like her for herself, but only likes her for checking his requirements. and any other women might also be suitable if she too checks off those boxes. it's a less peronalized version of like, more lukewarm, and is lacking the deep and passionate love which she wants.
If she decides to coooperate with Tongke of all people then I don’t know what to say. Bad decision
Not really.
Read on for spoilers....
HT gives up guangha shares to get back JX's shares from Tongke. This makes him primary shareholder of JX's company. But he draws up a document to give it all back to her. She refuses and quits. they break up. eventually Hanhai and JX's company merge which was HT's plan from the start. JX becomes a VP at the new company and with time she and HT get back together.
About HT’s answer, while it’s not what JX wanted to hear, he was being honest. In the novel he goes on to say…
He sacrificed for her before the breakup. He gave up Gunghua shares to get back JX’s company shares from Tongke and offered to give them back to JX, effectively setting her free from his control. She refuses and quits.
tho he won't verbalize it his actions go all out for her sake. basically, the boy is whipped.
