That family dinner with Han Ting's family was so awkward. Jabs here and there ughhhh. Poor ji xing..... I felt…
Yeah I don’t like his family. They betray him (cousin) and abandon him/don’t support him (grandfather). Poor HT deserves better. At least the aunt seems okay.
I remember seeing that schedule. I think they release 38 and 39 together on saturday next week and episode 40…
Wait…how? We only have 9 more eps. If we take those away and we’re down to 7 until 38 on next saturday… that means one episode the entire next week up to ep 38 on Saturday? Sorry, sorry my brain isn’t mathing. Can you break it down for me?
If it’s only one episode per day from now until Monday that means that the entire breakup and pining arc will be spread across individual once- daily episodes???? Grrrrrr!!!!!
I like the dynamic change now. It's more balanced, and I hope they work out.
which of them pushed for a relationship in the begining? i fast forwarded some of their starting secenes. but from what i recall, they were in a casual relationship with lili being very easygoing just wanting a friends-with-benefits situation but he asked her for more and she agreed. did i get that wrong?

He pushed her to get serious aobut them before revelaing he had a child. once she complied he began to pull back using the child as an excuse to the point where she felt it. so he finally told the truth after she pushed him to the wall. then he introduces her to the kid, she likes the kid, but he pulls back....again. The guy is inconsistent as hell. To top it all off he's keeping HT's business secrets which will impact the company where Lili works.
I get a dad protecting his child first. But that's no reason to keep that child a secret--it's a reason to keep that child safe and to take care to only introduce her to the person he's seriously considering a future with. That's the way a mature person and responsible parent behaves. not this wishy-washy man who can't seem to make up his mind if he's coming or going. Talk about mixed messages!
The way he should have handled things: Been upfront about having a child from the start, or at least as soon as he got into a serious relationship with her and was happy with how things were progressing. Then, NOT introduce her to the kid until he was certain he wants to build a future with her.
