I also think she is just as guilty of her son's death, after all she caused all that chaos by repeatedly intervening…
You're correct. She was like a child who posessed an adult's power who ran around causing chaos and destruction.
The issue is, she led with her heart, regardless of the rules. It's like the old trope of those rich parents who cover up for their child's misdeeds so the child never faces any consequences, until the child does something truly awful that causes horrendous damage.
The problem in this case was that HR wasn't actually a child. She was an adult who should have, and did, know better, but chose to act defiantly.
BJS should have had her face the consequences the very first time she broke the rules. Also, he could have told her that he too cares for humans and undertands her intentions but regardless, the rules of the universe must be obeyed.
They both screwed up, but she more than him initially.
As for him, towards the end, I do believe he should have paid more attention to those ten years instead of looking away (tho it was probably only something like 10 days in the immortal real's time, and he never could have anticipated the horrors she'd face since their time together prior to his leaving was pretty safe and stable). He also should have looked deeper into why she made the formation which was intended to revive their child. All the prior times she broke the rules it was for the sake of justice, protection, love, etc. He should have known she wasn't doing something blindly or selfishly and should not have acted without fully investigating. So towards the end of events, maybe he carried blame equal to hers.
I agree. Some people are acting like Jun is a victim of SA. He is not. Sorn's a dick too, but too many give Jun…
I watch this on fast speed and I don't remember the exact dialogue of last week so it's possible I'm wrong in this, but...
From what I recall, the only time Jun "demanded" that Sorn should say "I like you" was when he was drunk. I'm sorry, but that doesn't count. It's basically someone on the end of their rope begging for a crumb. It might make Sorn feel bad or uncomfortable, or any other numbrer of things, but not "pressured" in the way you're implying. Especially since Jun basically fell asleep right after and Sorn was able to walk away.
Meanwhile, Sorn has been sending mixed messaged. This included telling Jun they're only having a physical relationship, but constantly demanding to know where Jun is; preventing him from hanging out with or talking to anyone veiwed as competition; basically telling Jun that they should be exclusive and he shouldn't date anyone; and constantly asking Jun "Do you like me already? When will you call me Hia? Why do you get along with everyone but me?"
The entire show is a buiildup. No single scene or sentence of dialogue exists independantly. It's all a buildup.
Jun fully consented, no question. He could have turned down Sorn initially, and he could have stopped being intimate with him at any point after starting their affair.
But Sorn played hard and loose with Jun's feelings, sent him hella mixed messages, and basically tore his heart apart.
If anything, Sorn has been pressuing Jun by demaning a standard of behavior that's out of place and without offering a reason why or anything in return.

Jun fully consented. And Sorn is definitely guilty of lying, sending mixed messages, and, to a point, gaslighting him. That's what Jun basically said during their fight and I agree. Jun just left out his own part of the mess, but he's hurt so...
They're both at fault, Sorn much more so than Jun. But then, if they'd communicated properly from the start...where would be the fun (or the show) in that? LOL
Okay i'm officially mad at sorn. Maybe the show is missing context which is given in the novel, but based on the show, here goes. I saw sorn as someone who likes jun, both physically and emotionally. At the start of the show jun says that sorn returned after a time away. The break occured immediately after the first time sorn and jun shared a secual encounter. Sorn left and didn't approach jun again until he was done with his legendery playboy days. When sorn and jun meet again, sorn makes a move. Initially he terms it only as friends with benefits or teacher and student...all ridiculous excuses in order to get an in. But we see how caring he is of jun, how possessive, how he makes every effort to take care of jun, despite speaking to him harshly. We can see that sorn is perfectly aware of what he is doing, on all counts. The vibe i got tho, was that sorn was waiting for jun to catch up to him. First, physically. Then emotionally. He was waiting for the jun to catch feelings, constantly asking jun "how do you feel about me?" That waiting was also what make sorn so possessive and jealous, bc his biggest fear was someone taking jun away. But this last episode??? Came out of left field for me. And completely invalidated everything about sorn from the start up to now. i don't even know what to think....but one thing i know for sure is that sorn is an absolute ass.
I was just about to start this show and came to the comment section to see what I'm in for...you scared me lmao.Care…
Oh!My!Lordddddd!
First of all, thank you so much for your essay!! I was running out of quality reading material and you just won 'author of the year.'
Second of all, what an unholy mess!!! My jaw dropped about halfway through your explanantion and managed to acheive new levels of droppage by the time I was through. The chaos gave me whiplash just reading about it second hand, I can only imagine your pain while actually watching this live lol.
Yeah, I can maybe go for any one of these tropes indiviudally, depending on my mood, but this melting pot of everything at once doesn't work for me. I think I'll give this one a skip.
Well, it started off pretty OK. It was enough to keep watching, but it went downhill fast. What am I saying??…
I was just about to start this show and came to the comment section to see what I'm in for...you scared me lmao. Care to elaborate on your comment? I don't mind spoilers. Just wanna know what heading my way and if it's worth my time. Please and thank you!!
Just started this and I'm a bit confused about who's who. The main characters can someone tell me? Who is blodod-related to and/or work colleagues with whom?

1-Is the show based on a novel?
2-When will the last ep air?
