not trying to be rude and anything, just genuinely curious. yours is the third or fourth comment i've seen asking about age gap. can i ask why? till now ive only seen questions about genre, style, whatever, and now age gap has become a deciding factor in watching a show?
Sorry i didn't really go through the cast list. From the looks of it, and the comments i've read on here from novel readers, the story is heavy on fluff and light on angst or intrigue so i just dived in for the fun without looking twice. so far its been really sweet and im enjoying it.
I'm reading the novel now and he decides to move on and a short while later finds out it was all a misunderstanding
At the start of ep 1 the ML is a surgeon. He gets a phone call from a friend who tells him to go meet a girl who has a crush on him. A few days prior the ml had attended a party, seen that girl, and fallen for her at first sight. Now, hearing from his friend that the girl likes him too and wants to meet with him, he decides to go out that night rather than going home to rest after work. On the way to meet her, he gets into a car crash, damages his hand, and has to quit working as a surgeon. After the accident, that girl never checked up on him, never reached out to him, basically forgot him altogether. When they meet years later, at work, the girl doesn't recall him at all.
The misunderstanding: At the party, the ml saw the fl and fell for her at first sight. He was happy she liked him too, and was upset that she forgot him and ignored his accident.
The ml's friend: gave him the wrong name. Friend thought it was the fl who saw the ml at the party and wanted to meet him afterwards. In turth, it was not. So the friend accidentally gave the wrong name, causing the ml to missunderstant that the fl likes him, asked to meet him, and then ignored him, plus forgot the whole story when they meet again for work several years later.
The fl: attended a party several years before she began her current job. The ml was also present at that party. But the fl has no impression of him at all; they did not actually meet, so the ml is a stranger to her until the day they find each other at work as boss and subordinate. She can sense he dislikes her in some way but has no idea why...
preview of ep 10 and 11 make it look the ml has gotten over his resentment of the fl. do any novel readers know, based on the timeline, if it's because he just plain decided to move on or if it's bc he finally finds out that she didn't know him in the past and is not responsible for his accident?
Thank you!! How long does it take in novel for it to be claired up? Are we in for a sad angsty ride or do they get to it pretty early on in their relationship?
Any novel readers can spoil for me the history of the ml and fl before they met at work? What's up with the ml friend who said the fl had a crush after meeting him at a party? And when does the ml find out that she had no clue who he is before work and didn't ask to meet him, the accident had no relation to her , etc. etc.?
can you share the backstory of their history before meeting at work? That one friend who tried to set them up used her name without her knowing right? When does he figure out that she never actually had a crush on him and didn't spot him at the party at all?
And, no, no second couple yet.

Eventully the misunderstandings are cleared up.
