I've noticed this trope as well in various j-dramas and a few tw-dramas and it really bothers me. Worse than the…
Well sometimes its about getting closure
Like in Rich Man Poor Woman his mom didn't come back in his life or tried to..
I think the main issues with j-dramas some people can do the worst thing then suddenly they ask for forgiveness and everyone forgives.. & I'm like NO! Can't accept that! It could be mothers, siblings, husbands, teachers, colleagues...
I remember Saikou no Jinsei no Owarikata ~Ending Planner~ the episode when they discovered the little sister had an affair with the teacher. They took it SOO LIGHTLY!! It pissed me off! I'm like that teacher should be kicked out of school!! No matter the reason, he's the adult sleeping with an emotionally troubled teenager + he has a family.
So true about him being underrated!! I think he deserves lead roles!! Although I consider Gaksital as a true lead role for him (not second lead) because the story was truly about Kang To and shunji, who they are in the setting, how they evolve and what happens in their relationship. It was heartbreaking both actors did a great job conveying it. And both kicked ass their fight scenes were AWESOME!! Well in general the action in Gaksital was AWESOME!!
I've always recognized that he was talented but most of the time his movies and dramas arent really my taste but hopefully I get to see him in more projects ;)
Why does it feel like King of dramas? :D but I will keep watching it...so far I like it :)
Well its set in the same industry, so the original idea is similar but I think it will have its own story and I'm enjoying it now. I did enjoy King of Dramas ALOT, more than usual korean dramas :P
Didn't like episode 2 much.. The acting from the "guest stars" of the episode was bad, and also the dialogs were soo cheezy
I still like that show and its Idea, and specially the general feel and mood it gives, but I wish they can make the dialogs more interesting and subtle. I think episode 1 was subtler.
Thanks for the guide!! That is a page I'm saving as "favorite" on my browser :P
One of these days I will make the time to watch Jacky Chan movies especially the old ones. Growing up I've watched his hollywood like Rush Hour, the medallion, Shanghai knight (havent seen noon) back then the action and comedy was enough to satisfy me but I'd like to see some of his better movies from HK!! Thanks again!! ;)
There you are, second male syndrome! This may be an unpopular opinion but I kinda like Young Do more than Kim…
I like that the lead isn't Young Do, cuz it'll be like watching Secret Garden all over again but I do find his character interesting.. he makes everyone tick.. and has a lot of chemistry with both Eun Sang and Rachel.
This is the nurse from "Akumu Chan", lol. I'm not sure I'll continue with this as it is terribly contrived.…
I hope nobody gets offended from what I'm about to say but from this convo I felt the is that Cinnamaroll is not being game at all at somebody having a different opinion. I think its condescending to ask people to look up definitions. Mareina seemed to me was just explaining why the things that bothered you in this dorama didn't bother her. I don't think thats dictating anyone to think the same..
Thx for the news!!! got me soo excited!!! I miss Yamada Takayuki & Tamaki Hiroshi!! Ishihara Satomi getting lucky :P but I like her ;) Ikuta Toma's movie seems interesting too!! Itazura Na Kiss second season is awesome news :D except I did hope they'd postpone it another year so the actrice will be a bit olders still 18 isn't that much different from 18 but she's so cute I love her!!
there are subs on goodrama but its spelt kaitou royal
but not for the last episode :(

Well those are the "newer" ones I've seen. Have you heard of "Take Five"? I think this one is pretty entertaining if you don't over think it :P of & the remake of "Itazura Na Kiss - Love in Tokyo" really enjoyed that one!! right now I haven't been watching too many japanese doramas, I don't find anything interesting:( I've been marathoning Answer me 1997 (been on my PTW for a year) soo good!! & went back being a kid enjoying Tokusatsu :P
If you'd watch old ones, for comedy there's "Kisarazu Cat's Eye" & "Manhattan Love Story"
which both are pretty hilarious in different ways but pretty old :P. "Unubore Deka" is also funny,
& for Romance there's "Utahime" which one of the doramas that remain memorable for me.
I love giving recs :P
