Nice article.. although I'm not really a fan because I haven't really seen any of his shows but I have Ryusei No Kizuna and Letters From Iwo Jima in my TOP to watch list so maybe I'll become a fan after getting to that ;P There was a time when I started watching Japanese doramas I looked for Stand Up!! to watch it but couldn't find it :( Its funny looking at that picture there because as you said, I think the chance of not all 4 but getting only 2 out of them to act in show together will be very slim

Well, I think when it comes to kisses, TWDramas are the best and JDramas have the best stories. KDramas can be…
I also HATE complicated love triangles, or squares, or wtv!! HS dramas can be done right, but I hate those "rich high schools with a poor heroins!" thats why SUFBB and Monstar work for me. I wish they made more university dramas. Crime, suspense are amazing and revenge stories too.. if not over dramatic ;)

Asian dramas period aren't usually great for kiss scenes, but as far as "flat characters" go, you've…
For me I like to see the style, language, culture and mannerisms from both Korea and Japan, but I prefer japan for not being over dramatic and keeping things simple and a bit more real. I agree with you about Japan being stingy and I wish they'd be more generous with us loyal fans ;)

If we only talk about "kiss scenes" then from what I seen from Korea, Japan & Taiwan, I'd rank Taiwan as best, then Korea (sometimes they hit sometimes they miss), and lastly Japan, cuz you won't find many passionated ones, if the show has any :P But as for my preferences in dramas, I prefer Japanese because they can come up with original stuff, and if not original then their way of presenting their stories and characters. Korean is next, I like a lot of things about korean dramas, but I don't like how they keep recycling their stories, even when they starts fresh and original. Thankfully lately I feel its been changing, hence the increase of number of korean dramas I've been watching ;) Finally Taiwanese drama feel like their characters are caricatures and their stories make walt disney feel more realistic, with their dependance of soo many coincidences to get their story going.

3) Jdramas- Also great actors, good image & sound quality. They have movies & shows that r the definition…
I love those Japanese movies with the most random stories!! I think they are the definition on entertaining and I think no other country would do it like Japan :P

Loool too funny!! During my time reading this I forgot how sick I was just kept laughing!!! I think each one of us has those battles with ou brains. Lately because time constraint my brain started winning more often then me :P

Most of these are great choice. I love Narimiya Hiroki, but for Sheldon I could see Matsuda Shota playing the…
Matsuda Shota as Sheldon would actually be an EXCELLENT idea!! Although I do like Narimiya Hiroki but Matsuda's role in Meitantei no Okite is what convinces me he could do roles like that :P

personally I would hate to see the big bang theory as an Asian drama, I like the idea of them making a drama similar…
Its like you both said, the way it would be interpreted would be completely different, only the original Idea might be similar, which is what is interesting if we had an asian "remake"of it. I Also agree that Japanese would be the best choice ;) I think they would be the only ones that can handle a character similar to sheldon :P

The part where Kotoko goes to spend a night at his house is probably not on the next one (9) so I'm guessing it…
I think they would test it with a "special" like they did with Rich Man Poor Woman ;P

I think we'll most probably gonna end this story with the wedding bcuz:
1. Too many things are yet to happen until then
2. The actress is too young for some of the scenes later on (although they can work around depending how much they want to show).

Plus i'm not too sure if the story is 13 or 16 eps. Japanese doramas are usually 10 to 13 eps max.

If there is 1 thing that is possible it would be getting a second season later on where we can have enough time to see that part of the story & the lead girl would have grown a little.

Nice article. And it would be lovely if there could be a part two but now with self-admitting 'gold diggers' like…
I think Couple or Trouble was a sort of a role reversal, which was a fresh change. The girl turned out to be the rich one and not the guy..

I know a bit of material queen though I haven't watched it, but seems to me its more like putting the character that is usually "second lead" as "the lead" which could be also I nice change ;)

I'm so so excited for this season ahh and it's 12 episodes, longer than the 9 episodes yay. But I have some questions~…
F wasn't caught, and we know nothing about him up to now. The killed Ji Hoon's GF to show him how it felt to be the family of the victim. I think Ji hoon found some clues that lead him to the dead girl but she had already committed suicide. Thinking that her partner was F, Ji hoon made it look like he killed her so "F" would go after her.

One thing I don't get is, him and the coroner manipulated evidence and all, and we see them after 1 year working in their posts as they didn't do anything wrong...

I'm really enjoying this remake, it's better than I expected, and as good as the Taiwanese version ;D This is…
Lets just hope she stays this way ;) As in she keeps being confidant in herself!

in the korean version, up to that point, I thought the character would be the type that defend herself more, but after the highschool segment, she kinda felt like a background character, more stalkerish :P

Your last question is also what I asked myself!!
Livvy May 4, 2013
I.. actually don't encourage this :P well the rom-coms should be ok, like specia A & Maid-sama, and also The Series of Saiunkoku could be made into a nice solid kdrama but I don't see how fruits basket can bring the same effect as a drama. Fullmetal Alchemist is my ALL TIME Favorite anime and all time favorite thing I've watched Period, but its the 1 I mostly would NOT want to see it made as a drama.

Its just my opinion though, thx for the article tough it was interesting to read ;)

I do love scarves & hats... well hats were always my thing my scarves definitely since becoming an addict ;)
I love chopsticks they sure do make eating FUN + after getting used to them, I find them easier to use than forks :P
Instant noodle is so much fun to make, and eating it (while watching asian shows) is a total joy!!
Finally, when I really DO MEAN IT that I want to thank somebody, I say ARIGATOO!! with ALL MY HEART!! & when wishing somebody good luck on something, I really feel that saying Gambatte will mean SO MUCH MORE!!

So yea this article is SOO TRU (4/5 for me, my hair i too straight, I prefer curly :P)

I specially Liked him in the latest episode (episode 5)
I really like this version too, much better than expected, and I hope when it goes on they make Kotoko stronger than the other versions. I do see more values in her personality here than in the other versions, like this episode, where she goes after kin-chan when he left disappointed, even irie-kun was there looking. It makes her less obsessed with her crush but someone who's cheerful and whats to enjoy herself.

After 5 episodes, I think up to now (just finished the highschool part) this version of Kotoko seems to be able to defend herself.. she even slapped him once :P + she has some cute scenes with kin-chan in episode 5 that shows how she cares for her friends even in the presence of her crush.

All this to say: IF you have any curiosity about it, I think it could be worth it to check it out ;) Very well acted too!!

I don't guarantee what happens afterwards though :P
