You should definitely watch Liar Game.. I think thats the one that everyone agrees on!! I agree with you with Nodame Cantabile and maybe Hana Kimi, I would add Love Shuffle!! & another depressing but ultimately one of the best dramas I've see in my life "Soredemo, Ikite Yuku"

I totally agree too. I also didn't realize `It started with a kiss' was a korean version of JP version,Ita-Kiss.…
You might find it long but its very addicting (and that coming from a person that RARELY watched taiwanese drama) and the 2nd season is even better!
On Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou Mar 2, 2013
Got to episode 6 &... It really got pretty good ;). Well it was interesting from the beginning, but i just wasn't sure where the story was going. Now that I'm more familiar to it I find it getting more and more interesting. The setting is soo nice, and their handling of different subjects related to said book is nice too. I really like that we get to explore every aspect of what a book is, and what it represents, and just the content, but we explore the authors and their history, their value subjectivity, and even the material.

I am glad that I saw the Korean drama first, even before the anime. That way, I wasn't watching it and waiting…
I think u'll like him more in the Taiwan version. We see more of his feelings for her in season 2.

I actually really liked playful kiss, but I agree the male lead could've shown more emotion. I also thought that…
Well i wouldnt want a season 3 i think the story as is, is perfect. I also liked "They Kiss Again" the most.

I agree with most of what you said!! I actually watched the taiwan version first, then i watched the anime, the japanese version, and most recently the korean one. I didn't fell in live with it right away but found it found it addicting (taiwan ver). But i really liked the second season. Although it was shorter, it had much more character development and characters really grow & mature. The anime was pretty good, but much shorter:P The japan version just didn't take it seriously but what really annoyed me in it is actually naoki. I hate that to the LAST minute they had to BEG him to go after Kotoko (though she WAS annoying) until he Realizes he "likes her". The korean version started pretty well but at one point stopped making sense. It felt like a bunch of scenes put together instead of a thought out narrative.

hehehe i am going to be one of the person who'll say that they didn't like the taiwanese version. it is actually…
I think your reaction to the story is similar to my reaction to hana yori dango. I really didn't like it :P As for this one, the premise itself can be annoying, but i like the detail they put into it. The good old classic of how the normal girl makes the cool guy fall for her, but we get to know those characters deeply, specially after the marriage. I can safely say the taiwan version is a good adaptation of it, much superior to the other adaptation.

I agree. I managed 20 episodes of Taiwanese version, about 3 for Korean, and didn't even attempt Japanese^^ Playful…
I don't know about most ppl but i really liked the second season of ISWAK you get a lot of character growth and it doesn't feel sooo one sided so i think u'll enjoy it + the last 2 episodes of the 1st season r reallllyyyyy cuuute!!

Both 35 sai no Koukousei and Vampire Heaven sound interesting. I know one person whose going to be happy about…
I didn't mind her boldness, I actually wish more characters in shows can be more bold, but sometimes its the little details that gets to me (I might be just nit picking :P) Like I said I understand part of y I didn't like her but a part of I admit I can't logically explain it :S

Title Doctor X
It was great! I wish I had seen it before I wrote my Top 12 for 2012 article because I would have rather put Doctor…
I guess for now I'll take ur word for it ;) When I get the chance (Time!!) I might go back to watch more.. I might have judged it to harshly. I actually liked the idea behind it.

Is it really that good? I watched the first episode but I couldn't stand it. The story was generally fine and I liked the Idea but I HATED the main character, I found her rude and arrogant, and felt that this was being passed as if she should be this way since she's great Surgeon, Of course everyone else was being an idiot. Will their be character development throughout the show?

35 sai no Koukousei sounds like a mix of My Boss My Hero (which I loved) and Doctor X (which I couldn't finish the 1st episode.. well it wasn't about the story but I couldn't stand the main character, but I don't know if the problem was the actrice or the character itself) Since the lead is the same from Doctor X and playing a similar role.. I really Don't know y I hated that character so much, and wonder if I'm the only one :P

Sora Tobu Kouhoushitsu Seems to have some interesting characters as leads... People with dreams they were following, but life got unpredictable, hence they had to follow a different path.. So that one for sure I'm checking out then Detarame Hero & Sennyuu Tantei Tokage if I have extra time ;)

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I waited so long for my beloved Matsuda Shota…
I gotta admit that the genre has been overused, and thats coming from someone who used to like the genre, but I might check it out for Matsuda Shot ;) I wish they would do something more original though or add something that has some originality in the mix :P

1. Female
2. Definitely, although lately MDL's been proving otherwise
3. Yes - Females
4. 3 out of 5 are males but it hasn't been updated lately. Also my # 1 is Female. Toda Erika really rocks ;)
5. The cast has an effect (unless its a melodrama almost NEVER watch despite the actors:P). I might choose watching a drama for certain actors but my choice of actors could be for looks (not denying it) but most of the time i find them either very talented or that i trust their choices in the project they act and that they can deliver.
6. No
7. Yes. Crime + mystery + comedy + syfy/Fantasy, episodic (not much patience). But in the end its all about the characters
8. Again, if a show has interesting characters then i might give it a chance for that main reason. I'm not too sure i understood that question correctly :P

The second lead girl in My Girl is the most pathetic and worst than the the 2nd lead guy. And from what ur saying…
Well I don't know I don't really agree. I didn't really like both 2nd lead in the show and I remember at 1 point the lead guy Gong Chan told her to back off and that he likes the character of Lee Da Hae but then she still wouldn't accept it. (I don't remember all the details its been a while since I watched it) I guess it isn't unusual with most kdrama 2nd leads :P but I still find them annoying and not realistic.
