Turns out, there's really no place like home

I haven't seen City Hunter but i've heard good things about it. I might watch it for the second lead (who I really liked in city hall:D) But I LOVED BRIDAL MASKED!! most kdramas I watched are around 16 episodes, But I'd never watch MORE than 20 episodes But somehow for Gaksital I really never felt it dragging!!
I find that what drove KangTo to wear the mask is not really for vengeance, but to continue what the previous person started, since he felt responsible, as in he had no choice but to continue on. Later on it became bigger than himself, than vengeance, than the original bridal mask, it became a symbol.
The main heroin's character is boring, and her acting didn't impress me much, but I felt she was more used as a drive (specially for Shunji, but also KangTo too) than a real character.
I find it interesting that bridal mask was a show where i dont know if the hero will survive

I so agree with everything you said!! I've seen most of those shows too :P I started watching him in "Liar…
Dunno I think it was Dramacrazy :S Usually If I wanna watch something and I can't find it I keep looking until I do!! It doesn't become about watching it anymore but to prove myself I can find it!! :P crazy obsession :P

I so agree with everything you said!! I've seen most of those shows too :P I started watching him in "Liar game", but then I wasn't sure if he could do anything other than "cool & collected" but really discovered him in "Love Shuffle" he was such a complete & interesting character (well most of the characters were, and many of them including him were really good!!)
In "Ikigami" it was just so interesting how we start noticing his character's face darkening as more events happen throughout the movie. He starts as a proud citizen believing in his job, only to loose faith in it every step of the way. I've also seen "Waruboro" & I remember that it was just "messed up" fun to watch!! I haven't seen "Hard Romanticker" but I think Waruboro is more of a toned down version of it :P
Meitantei No Okite was just HILARIOUS!! the last episode had some hilarious reference to Prison Break :P

Title SPEC: Heaven Spoiler
as far as I remember, Unno sealed Toma's spec, but how come she was about to use it? did I missed something? I've…
You're right about one thing: the movie got "lots of questions left unanswered"
About Toma's powers, I think Ninomae or maybe someone else said said that her powers are somewhat special, and they came back to her during that scene after the Ice/Fire woman dies, and the octopus guy was messing with them.

YAY PANDA! I loved Love Shuffle~~ ^0^ My favorite pairing was: the girl that wants to kill herself and the photographer.…
that was everyone's favorite pairing :P

congrats!!!
so true about the show!! I think its just much more then what the title suggests. Well the title kinda suits it too since that "shuffle" kinda brought out so much out of the characters, it was very interesting & fun to watch ;) one of my faves :D

lol I've seen MOST of this doramas, even though I don't think he has "much" acting skills. Still i watch…
lol I know that I'm missing out on Stand Up :P seeing him with Narimiya Hiroki & Oguri Shun (among others) is really something, since I know it will not happen again :P
I dunno about his acting skills, I think he was better when he was younger, in his later dramas he feels like the same person to me.

actors I've stalked (maybe still stalking :P) Yamapi was waaayy in the beginning when i first started watching japanese doramas (i think Kurosagi was one of my 1st)
Later on, Nagase Tomoya (gotta watch UTAHIME) Matsuoka Masahiro (Manhattan Love Story) Okada Junichi (Kisarazu Cat's Eye) and sometimes Matsuda Shota (love Shuffle)
But now i'm more into Tsumabuki Satoshi, Odagiri Joe, Eita, Tamaki Hiroshi
There are some actrices I stalk too like Toda Erika (SPEC) .. well right now thats all that comes to mind :P there was a time I stalked Horikita Maki but not anymore :S

lol I've seen MOST of this doramas, even though I don't think he has "much" acting skills. Still i watch them out of curiosity and enjoy them :P I dunno y i haven't watched "Stand Up" I think I might like it, but at this point, it feels that its to old a drama :P
I think i'll just feel disappointed cuz, since those actors were still young and not that famous, we got to see them together, but in recent drama they're all "too famous" to act in a dorama together :(
But "Nobuta Wo Produce" is at another level. Its one of my all time fave!! I mean really, no matter what ur taste is, if u watch it, u'll find something u'll like!! At one point u'll just feel that ur the main characters' 4th invisible friend having fun hanging out with them ;)

Totally agree with Nakatsu being number 1!! Just recently rewatched Hana Kimi & GOD id I fall in love with him!! I always have a BIG FAT SMILE ON MY FACE in every scene he's in (which were alot so.. yea i did look like a weirdo while watching that show :P) The other choices are good too.. I also got others, but like u said, the list can be never ending :P its fiction after all ;)

Title Hana-Kimi
What makes the premise work is that this dorama doesn't take itself seriously AT ALL!! + it has so many colourful characters, we get to know most of them, as the lead girl does. Nakatsu is sooo cute and hilarious :P

I gott agree with liar game!! it really sets up the mood of the game!
I gotta also recommend "Guilty" main song "Juju - kono yoru wo tomete yo" really liked it (more than the show itself :P)
There's also "Keizoku 2: SPEC " i don't remember if it was the opening of the ending though :P
"Soredemo ikite yuku" had a VERY effective opening song!! felt totally nostalgic!!
the opening of "utahime" called SeisYun (meaning Youth I think :P)
and also the ending song of "SP" called Way of Life
I don't like Hana yori Dango but it had some nice ost songs ;)

All this to say I totally agree with u music is an important part of any drama ;) It can at sometimes encourage ppl to finish a drama even if you don't want to :P

As for Korean I got many shows where I liked the main song more than the show itself :P

LOL I seem to be the only soul in this drama universe for whom Hana Yori Dango was a complete disaster(I mean…
Hana yori dango wasnt my 1st drama but GOD I HATED IT!!! but not the actors or the acting, but i hate the story!! thats y no matter what i heard of boys over flowers (kversion) I was like NO WAY I'D WATCH THAT AGAIN!! finishing it was painful but i just felt i had to to get it over with (dunno what i had in my head at that time :S)

Sometimes I wonder how they judge the people they put on these lists. All I see are females taken from really…
@ Skye-N-Rain I don't think the number of dramas you've watched says it all however i think in this case it is at least a bit relevant, when you've watched more dramas you'd be exposed more to different types of characters. In this list for example, except for 49 days, the dramas kinda belong to the same type. I'm not saying this article is wrong or anything though. It was titled "5 coolest" so it could be the author found them cool and I'm cool with that. anyone who disagrees can write their own article ;) it'd be an issue if she had titled it "5 most kick-ass" :P then again we each have our own opinion.

Yea last year I never thought I'd Watch VP but then during finals I really needed something procrastinate or something to look forward to when i have my (supposedly 15 min turned 1 hour) breaks :P and I just read some comments about it on dramabeans so i thought I'd check it out.. I haven't seen much "Vampire" stuff recently cuz i felt it became i trend (i used to watch buffy & angel) but as procedural show it impressed me ;)

About Nice guy i've seen only 2 :P and I have been hearing good stuff about it, but the story just doesn't click much to me. Plus I don't have much time now that i'm working!! But I haven't given up on watching it.. yet :P
