I agree, Ruyi will make a wonderful mother. She also took care of Ling Long(white sparrow), she saved countless others like the chief Jin of the brothel.. She is a saviour with maternal instincts.

* The Emperor of An, Li Zhun and The Empress, Zhaojie(deceased 5 years ago, Shadong tribe)

* There are three major tribes in the State of An - The Shaxi Tribe, The Shadong Tribe and The Shazhong Tribe. The Emperor wants to balance the power of the tribes and hence his Harem is full of noble ladies from different tribes.

*There are three princes in the State of An, first prince Hedong - Li Shouji, second prince Luoxi - Li Zhenye( Shadong Tribe, Son of deceased Empress Zhaojie), Third prince????

* Noble Consort Chu (Shaxi Tribe, Duke Chu's little sister) went to the imperial Palace three years ago and is currently the emperor's favourite.

*Li Tongguang was the son of Princess Qingning(sister of the Emperor of An) there were rumors, his biological father was a lowly paramour of State of Wu/Su? . The Emperor had granted him a royal family name.

*Li Tongguang for his contribution in capturing the Emperor of Wu was promoted by the Emperor of An to first-rank Marquis General of Yulin army. However The Emperor of An is distrustful of him and tries to keep him in check by mental manipulation.

* It was presumed that Chu Yue (Shaxi tribe, Duke chu's daughter) would marry the second Prince Luoxi (Shadong Tribe, deceased Empress Zhaojie's son) but The Emperor did not wish these two tribes, Shaxi and Shadong to come together and gain more power so he decided to marry Chu Yue to Marquis Changqing, Li Tongguang.

* REDEEMING THE EMPEROR Of WU ; The third son of the Emperor is still young. The first prince and second prince both have support behind them. The Emperor doesn't intend to appoint a crown prince currently. Both the princes are opposed to redeeming the Emperor of Wu, but the first prince is greedy for money, he may be persuaded. The person who agrees to redeem his majesty is Marquis Changqing, Li Tongguang.

Oh... I must have missed it but glad to know the princess can have a loving relationship....

Ruyi did reveal that her own mother died when she was giving birth to her brother, both thr child and mother died. Hence her father sold her to scarlet guards when she was very young to marry a second woman.

I was also thinking that Ruyi requested Ning to relocate her god mother then how she was so easy to find... But I think her god mother implied that she was sorry as she did not listen to Ruyi and hence was caught.. Maybe she refused to relocate or went back or something.

As far as Ruyi's bond with the Empress and her god mother is concerned they are trying to show that there can be loving relationship between people without it necessarily being biological.

Emperor of Wu is not a weakling for sure that one conversation did reveal he is more cunning than we all think.

I avoid watching previews but looks like there may be new love on the horizon for our princess.

It would be equally good if it was the youngest boy too...

* it did not surprise me that the Emperor of An was involved in the assassination of his Empress.. He seems to be vary of the growing influence of the tribes and likes to keep things in balance.

* Emperor of Wu is not as useless as he is being portrayed, he still has some trick up his sleeves.

* it would not surprise me if The Emperor of An was assassinated by the end of series and new rulers ascend for both the states.

* Now that Princess has faced the bitter truth of her love, there is a possibility of her finding new love in the delegation and if that happens my best bet is on Qian Zhao.

* This series is balancing quite nicely between trustworthy and untrustworthy people.

* I feel the spies of state of Wu are better than those of State of An, because as per the changes brought by Ning and his chief earlier, they tried to change the operation method from instilling fear to establishing trust.... State of An uses the method of fear and punishment hence they would not willing to serve if they found a way to break free.

* As of now I feel inspite of their defeat, State of Wu is much superior in every terms than State of An and we may get to see them turn tables.

Speculation and thoughts.

Oh.. I did not know about the rein.

But I agree with you on the treatment of horses.. Sometimes it makes me wonder how much pain all these animals must be going through.

I just hope that while shooting they would be careful of the animal's safety because from the pure monetary aspect too, its costly to train horses so the owners must be ensuring some safety protocol while shooting and looking after the horses' well being.

But Jokes apart, Since ages when people are travelling in a group with important items they tend to slow down.. That's why messengers on horseback reach quickly...

And because the series is a journey, we should be getting the benefit of onwards and return journey both.

🤣🤣🤣But actually I feel Wu state's spies are better than An state's... They believe in using their brains more and avoid killing if possible.

And I believe all of them knew the way to brothel they did not want to reveal in front of Ruyi... So they kept giving each other side eyes.

Even I feel today's episodes were back to action... They were very interesting.
