Loved the conclusion that Ruyi came to, that she doesn't need a child to have a good life, her existence is not dependent on anyone else, she should live her life for herself.
* I like scheming cunning Li Tongguan better than the cry baby, just feel a little sorry for the princess chu yue, he is manipulating her but she seems to genuinely like him.
* love the innovative way to address your grievances, make a firecracker rocket 🧨out of them... Ning Yuanzhou is really great 👏

I have a big dilemma, in the contest of most despicable person, I don't know whom to give the award to. The Emperor of An Or The Emperor of Wu????.... Both are strong contenders.
The scene that impressed me the most in the recent episodes was the entry of the Wu state delegation in the capital of An... Some of the people were maliciously instructed to throw garbage on them from the balcony... Li Tongguang's subordinate used an umbrella to cover them both, already aware of the possibility of that happening... The Wu state delegation on horseback deftly used their cloaks to catch the refuse and throw it back at the people on the balcony that initially threw the garbage on them.
As someone pointed out that Li Tongguan was a caricature of obsessive fans. I think the above scene could be interpreted as not letting negativity affect your pleasure, the negativity could be repelled off as easily as the Wu state delegation saved themselves by their quick actions and were on the way without breaking their stride, all the while retaining their majestic bearing. 😎 😎😎

Sometimes I have love/ hate relationship with express packages... I guess Li Tongguan will be the regent and they will put the infant third prince on the throne for State of An. I don't believe Li Tongguaun would have a romantic pairing as of now, better to let him focus on politics. I see that disposing off the Emperor of An and the two incompetent princes would be easy.
I want Yang Ying to be the Empress of state of Wu but I don't see how that could be accomplished because even if the Emperor of Wu dies in an accident during the rescue still two strong contender are there for state of Wu's throne, the acting regent and the current pregnant empress of Wu.
I had hoped that Yang Ying would be paired with Qian Zhao because before the mission he was the commander of Yunlin army in Wu, so politically he would be the most suitable candidate to marry Yang Ying.
I believe that the series is setting up both the disciples of Ruyi, Li Tongguang and Yang Ying to shine out in the end... It would show Ruyi is the most worthy teacher because she tutored the future rulers of both state.

I don't think he had any hand in the Empress' death... The conversation between Li Tongguan and Ruyi clarified that he didn't take revenge on the murderer of the Empress even though he knew the reality. Ruyi hinted that she was disappointed with him because the Empress ensured his well being by making Ruyi his master, so he should have done something about it after Ruyi's presumed death, instead he was totally focused on building his political career..
