It seems so. It is mentioned that in the role playing game on which this drama is based, there are four playable characters. So in the game everyone else would be antagonist Or minor helpers.

Two teenagers, Yue JinZhao (xu kai) and Yue Qi (Yu Shuxin) have lost their memories three years ago. Yue JinZhao has been taking care of Yue Qi since then. Yue Qi often dreams of a faceless master who may have answers to her past, but the master may just be a figment of Yue Qi's imagination and not a real person.
Yue JinZhao considers himself to be Yue Qi's elder brother(termed used more as respect rather than actual relationship). Yue Qi refuses to acknowledge him as older to her because both of them woke up three years ago in Wuyun village together and both didn't remember what happened before (both are amnesic). Both decided to celebrate the day they woke up as their shared birthday. Yue Qi seems obsessed with fish figures. Yue Qi and Yue JinZhao seem to share a mindlink.
Both these people are trying to uncover their original identities.Yue JinZhao can foresee people and events with his left eye although he experiences intense pain in his left eye after having a vision. He had drawn a figure of a person in red clothes from his vision who would help them to discover their identities. (This person turns out to be a lady cross dressing as a man, Luo Zhaoyan, the head of the Lou family)

Su Yu is Yun Tianhe's mother, she is enshrined in an translucent ice coffin in Shichengxi cave where later Yun Tianhe's father, Yun Tianqing also lies alongside Su Yu in the same coffin a few years later.
Su Yu was the host of Wangshu sword that was kept in Shichengxi cave, in episode 1, Tianhe probably became it's new host. The aura of Wangshu sword is extremely cold not many people can withstand the cold and their body parts that touched the sword gets frost bitten. It was later revealed that Wangshu sword also absorbs the holder's spiritual energy in it.
When Tianhe accidentally becomes the new host, it resonates with the other sword Xihe sword whose aura is extremely hot almost fiery. Xihe sword's host who had been in a coma after the backlash (recuperating inside an icicle cover in a secluded fiery cave with Xihe sword nearby),wakes up due to the resonant effect of Xihe sword in his cave. Xuan Xiao, the host of Xihe sword apparently had strong feelings for Tianhe's mother, Su Yu who was the host of Wangshu sword.
After the death of 24th Grandmaster Immortal Tai Qing, Su Yao became the new Grandmaster of Qionghua Sect. She has other othe Zao jade piece that is red in colour, probably belongs to Xuan Xiao (one white Zao jade piece it's twin belonged to Su Yu, now with Tianhe). Xuan Xiao dislikes her having the jade piece, Su Yao apparently loves Xuan Xiao but he doesn't return her feelings.
Qionghua Sect, probably blames Su Yu, Xuan Xiao and Yun Tianqing for the death of 24th Grandmaster master immortal Tai Qing and the great losses they suffered due to the swords' imbalance caused by Su Yu.

This series is quite uncomplicated yet interesting to watch... I am finding this like a breath of fresh air to watch during short breaks from work... You don't need to continuously analyse the plot, sit back and enjoy the mystery unfolding...
Fun fact: the author( qing ge) is as clueless as the viewers so we are together in this race till the end, uncovering hidden motives and discovering the truth.
