Speaking of cinematography of this series, other non verbal interaction in the scenes that struck my mind are:

She woke up when the car stopped but Yang Jian asked her to go back to sleep as they were far from their destination yet.....Yang Jian even after reaching Zhaoyang's house kept driving around in circles to allow her some moments of peaceful sleep...
2.Yang Jian always bringing food for Zhaoyang, in one instance, Yang Jian peeled oranges and artistically arranged the slices on a plate... He kept the plateful of orange.slices beside hot wonton bowl on Zhaoyang's desk before leaving Zhaoyang to continue doing her work peacefully... The camera pans on the wonton bowl and orange plate kept on the table.
These scenes silently portray Yang Jian's affection and care for Zhaoyang.

Xu Si is trying to help her but there has to be a hidden angle.. He always tries to kill two birds with one stone. The hidden angle may be something to do with Aneda company, Zhaoyang was its formal employee, Baoxing investment has a current interest in the company but I think he is using Tengyue to compete with Aneda.
Just now probably he is trying to help her because him exempting the rent for two years is a great relief for Jiang Hu, but there is always another angle with Xu Si... He doesn't give out free lunches... I believe his plan to revive Tengyue is something to do with his business dealings with Aneda.... Good point......I guess it is more for the audiences' sake, they can see that for her the company is so important that she has forgotten about her appearance, her only concern is to run the factory... But I believe we also get to see that when she went for dinner at the club to recruit old employees of Free unicorn and Baoxing Investment outing, she dresses up formally... She doesn't consider her meetings with Xu Si to be formal based on their constant confrontation so appears before him in informal outfits.

I agree with that, direction for these two episodes was superb, without words the director managed to show the inner turmoil of both Jiang Hu and Xu Si during the negotiation.. Jiang Hu standing outside Xu Si's office building and the sliding doors opening and closing while she is indecisive was other scene that stuck out for me....Very well done by the director...

These kinds of events are kept by a company to show solidarity of employees and how the company treats their employees as family.. These events are also a way to get some good PR... These people are cleaning the sea by picking up refuse and media is covering the event.. Jiang Hu cleverly uses this opportunity to get the other companies under Baoxing Investment to purchase her shoes by claiming it is good for exercise and keeping environment clean.
* Jiang Hu achieves the target of selling 20,000 pairs of shoes in one month. Xu Si is impressed and agrees to talk about renting the factory premises.
* In the meeting, Xu Si wants to give Jiang Hu the factory premises rent free for two years.. (Earlier Jian Hu had asked to rent the building for two years, one million yuan rent each year to be paid at the end of the year, one million yuan security deposit)... Xu Si says that the rent will be exempted so Jiang will not have to worry about paying three million yuan for two years, she can utilize her income from further sales into development of her company..... BUT Xu Si wants controlling shares of Tengyue 70%....which in essence will make him(Baoxing Investment)the owner of Tengyue.
* This is a very difficult decision for Jiang Hu, she is saving money for rent + Xu Si is giving her the factory premises... If she doesn't agree Xu Si will make them vacate the factory.... But handing over controlling share is equally difficult for her.

* Xu Si visits Tengyue factory to see the progress however he is unsatisfied with how it is being operated and wants to fire Jiang Hu and appoint a new team. (He ia too hasty in concluding this, one week is insufficient time for any significant change.. Atleast one quarter should be given to Jiang Hu)
*Xu Si's mother had a fall in their old factory, she needs operation for her back.... I guess Xu Si's mother and Jiang Hu share very similar ideology... They are tenacious about their inheritance and their desire to continue the family legacy, they are not ready to let go of the place that was loved and built by their family members.
* We get a glimpse at the dispute between Gao Yi's father, Gao Zheng and Jiang Hu's father, Jiang Qisheng......It seems both side believe the other was responsible for embezzlement of money from their old partnership.... But I believe that in the end it would turn out a third party had played them against each other... Both Gao Zheng and Jiang Qisheng seem very honest people they would not resort to fraud and cheating. Gao Yi believes his father's life was ruined by Jiang Qisheng false accusation of embezzlement and hence he has turned against Jiang Qisheng wanting revenge for his father.

Actually even I was a little confused by his behaviour after he came to know of his uncle's part in He family's destruction... He did express his wish to die on behalf of his uncle for their part in He family's death... However he has not outright committed suicide he is still living... Probably waiting for a heir to take over astrology pavilion.... But he also sees that he is jiu ling's only family, Wouldn't it have been better for him to tell her that he knows his uncle's part in the conspiracy but he still loves her and if she could forgive him then he would live by her side forever and accompany her...

Actually they did show jiu ling progressing as a warrior undergoing training with her brothers.... Yes they didn't show it very extensively..... But there have been reference that when He family had been at the border, Jiu Ling practiced and she became a respected warrior.. She often participated in friendly contests and won prizes in form of precious herbs etc... Even during the hunting event, she was able to defeat most of the so called capable warriors..... So I don't find her becoming general unexpected and out of blue.
