* Jiang Hu has never ending problems at her factory. Mr. Pei gets angry at the idling Liu Jun and fires him. However a worker cannot be fired randomly, so Jiang Hu intervenes, this causes dispute between Mr. Pei and Jiang Hu... Mr.Pei leaves the factory premises giving ultimatum to Jiang Hu to choose between himself or Liu Jun.
*Xu Si invites Jiang Hu to dinner.
* Jiang Hu arranges a trap for Liu Jun. She asks Yang Jian and his group of boys to keep watch at night. Just as Jiang Hu leaves for her dinner date with Xu Si, she gets a call to return back to the factory. Jiang Hu catches Liu Jun and other workers stealing raw materials from the factory, they have an altercation, Yang Jian arrives sometime later and films Liu Jun stealing, Liu Jun can now be terminated on valid ground, also sent to jail if Jiang Hu Presses charges... Liu Jun is trying to get some workers to leave Tengyue to join another company.
* Jiang Hu arrives late for dinner, the diner is closed but surprise, Xu Si is still waiting for her. They have dinner at convenience store where Jiang Hu happily put together a burger and mixes Xu Si's favorite milk tea... Just the they see a thrash can catch fire, Xu Si is upset as he recalls the fire in his own factory when he was 5 years old. His father and Uncle lost their life in that fire, Xu Si who was on the primise that day watches helplessly from outside the whole building going up in flames while his father and uncle are trapped. ( he had a verbal argument with his mother in earlier episodes, where he told his mother that if their factory had accepted the merger proposal they would have better equipment and their factory would not have caught fire leading to the two men of his family dying) part of the reason Xu Si is closed off emotionally is due to childhood trauma.
* Zhao yang is invited to free unicorn factory to collaborate with them, however the executive there want her to plagerise Italian design hand painted on the shoes. They call stealing as paying 'homage'.... They are obviously using the wrong dictionary if they don't differentiate between the words plagiarism and paying homage😆😆😆
*Another word thrown around in episode 16 was 'moral integrity'... Both Xu Si and Zhao yang refused to take on projects which encouraged plagiarism on the ground of moral integrity... I feel Xu Si and Zhao yang are more alike in their thoughts and their outward cold aloof behaviour because somewhere they both fear to get hurt if they open themselves emotionally... Whereas Jiang Hu and Yang Jian are more open about their emotions and feelings.. That is why Yang Jian and Jiang Hu are becoming good working friends and Xu si and Zhao yang are starting to respect the other's work, I don't think Xu Si and Zhao yang are the kind of people who make friends easily.
*Ms.Song of TT media surprised me, with her cutting remarks at free unicorn.. Before she rejected the offer she very ruthlessly told the executives instead of taking inspiration they might as well directly copy at least the lawsuits against them will generate free publicity. 😁😁😁... Obviously she Already had another offer in hand.
*Mr.pei and Jiang Hu are blood relatives indeed, very sneakily they got rid of Liu Jun and his merry band of followers, without having to fire them. They got rid of unwanted people without paying one month's severance pay... That was a remarkable move.
* Also loyalty from all old workers was heartwarming, solving an employee's personal problem also got Jiang Hu support from her, she poached chef Lin from C-club, but because he has his own supply line, his higher salary cost will be absorbed in the reduced price of food raw materials supply chain.
* Liu Jun looked ready to retaliate... He wouldn't take so easily to be outsmarted by Jiang Hu.

Does anyone know why two episodes(episode 8 and episode 15) had changed opening theme songs ???? Is there a special significance of these two episodes?
Both the episodes 15 and 16 were full of emotions. More emphasis on feelings and less on business talks. In episode 15 once again cinematography was used to portray sentiments, after her almost dinner date, Jiang Hu while sitting on her bed is lost in thoughts and the camera focuses on a single red flower on a cactus plant. Strangely both Jiang Hu and Xu Si can only maintain cacti, they lack the spirit to care for plants requiring more nurturing. Episode 16 dealt with topics of plagiarism and loyalty...

After a little time has elapsed since the end of the regular series, the painter wakes up one night and goes out to check if some stories are correct. Rong Yu who had been extensively wounded by Jiu ling's senior brother during the war and had also ingested poison before falling in Jiu ling's senior brother's hand wonders why he is recovering so well from such extensive injuries. The painter brings the news to Rong Yu that he has seen Jiu Ling, Rong Yu rushes to meet her. There he discovers that the still aged Jiu Ling is now pregnant with his child but because she looks elderly, the town people are reviling her. Rong Yu decides to go to Wuhua mountain to beg Jiu ling's master's help. Jiu ling's master understands the situation by looking at Rong Yu's recovered state that Jiu Ling had given the precious medicinal insect 'pipa zui' that was previously keeping her healthy to Rong Yu. She is upset with Rong Yu because she cannot make that medicine again. Rong Yu kneels down and begs her to save Jiu ling's life.. If the master can save only one life, either Jiu Ling's or the child's life, Rong Yu begs the master to save Jiu Ling's life. He can live childless and wouldn't care if she doesn't recover her youthful looks again. Master rushes to Jiu Ling's aid, she scolds Jiu ling for being so rash, Jiu ling begs her master to save the life of her unborn child, the child would live on as it was strong and survived her ordeal. All the while Rong Yu stands outside Jiu Ling's house's door. Master gets the idea to use the essence of 'pipa zui' which may still linger in the unborn child's body to save both Jiu Ling and the child. After giving birth, master along with Jiu ling and the child decide to leave the place leaving a note for the waiting Rong Yu to forget Jiu Ling and continue with his life.

The girl is chased by the Emperor's soldiers and she runs away calling for her mother. On the way the girl collides with Rong Yu, her mother who is conversing with another person turns back and rushes to help her child. Jiu ling who is this child's mother realises that her child had collided with Rong Yu hastily turns her back and tries to move away. Rong Yu stops her by asking if she didn't want his child now? And if she didn't even want him? Jiu ling turns back and all three, the child, Rong Yu and Jiu ling hug each other Rong Yu and Jiu ling happily stare at each other.

I felt the special episode gave good closure to the story and was much needed.

I feel everyone needs some help in their life, irrespective of 'the gender' of the person helping or guiding us... So if Zhao Yang and Jiang Hu are being helped by a certain gender it doesn't diminish their own capability and achievements....
But as you said and I agree with you that we all see things in different ways and we should write our perspective without hesitation. I enjoy reading others' opinions while expressing my own.

Became I understand very little about the chinese titles and names, I try to diligently follow the subs.
Mango literally had written insect "pipa drunk" in the subs... So actually it would be "pipa zui".... "Zui" is translated to drunk... (And I only know this because of the character xuanyi is playing in the currently filming drama)
I will correct the name of the fictional medicine and The Regent's title in my review in a day or two when I conclude it...... Thanks for providing correct information.
