What did you not like about the ending? I have not seen the episode yet, waiting for english subs but I gather from comments there is an epilogue episode 27 too.. Have you watched it?
I created an account just to say this. But I find it quite funny how the song prince and his sister beat up HJL…
Actually I too noticed it at the games competition held during hunting outing... I immediately felt like the scenario from "Anne of Green Gables'.... It was narrated in that story that when a boy likes a girl he annoys her to get her attention.. This situation felt very similar to that... The prince was constantly picking fight with jiu ling to get her attention and make her notice him...I guess he always liked her but she never gave him any thought.

I have not seen any official announcement but fan posts are indicating that on 30th October, 7.30pm (china time) two episodes will be aired simultaneously on Dragon TV and iQIYI...

*The new princess tries to win Rong yu's favour... She plays terrible pipa if I were Rong Yu, I Would nod too so she could finish and leave soon.
* sacrifice galore has started, jiu ling is tolerating the new princess because if she leaves someone should be there to look after Rong yu.... Rong yu has decided to divorce jiu ling after empress dowager's birthday because he thinks she married him in a desperate situation and actually loves her senior brother.. (Lot of things are scheduled to happen after empress dowager's birthday)
* jiu ling wonders if Rong yu knew she had deliberately poisoned him, would he be as good to her as now... She doesn't know but we know that he knows and still loves her. (Friends series situation π)
* jiu ling and her senior brother grew up together on the mountain so it is obvious she feels close to him, he is like an extended family for her... After the death of her own family, she would reach out to someone familiar.
* so now the plan is to destroy the star chart except no body knows what it actually is.
* Rong Yu finally confesses that he has recovered and jiu ling finally acknowledges that opposite attracts and she has fallen in love with him.... Almost too late for everything, chinese serials cannot help but wrench the audience's heart... Well still remaining positive they will resolve their differences soon.
* Lord Rong is ecstatic upon knowing Rong Yu plans to divorce jiu ling, he has decided to get close to the princess so that people know she will be future lady of Rong residence.
