Thank you for all of your hard work. 😊 I was wondering do you know if Song Yiren and Wang You Shuo are dubbing…
Wang You shuo is using his own voice... I have seen his other dramas where he dubbed himself. On mango tv dramas, I observe most actors using their own voices for dubbing.

One of ost is also duet sung by Wang You Shuo and Song Yiren, that has wonderful lyrics and sung well by both.

Leaving the link below to Peachey Blossom's youtube channel for the duet song, Ember Lovesickness sung by both leads, with English subs added by @Peachey Blossom.

Mr. Song and Magistrate wei's conversation from episode 12In spoiler tag below
I have included this conversation's summary in my review but I just wanted to post my opinion on the conversation from the review here... This is a very good conversation, of what 'injustice' means and how people choose to go forward after they have experienced 'injustice'.

The above conversation reflects two different ideologies. Magistrate chose personal revenge to honour his dead friend Lu Buyou's sacrifice. He gave more importance to personal grievances and spiraled down the dark path becoming as guilty as the original conspirators... Where as Judge Song leaving aside his own personal issues and grievances chose a righteous path and tried to uphold justice for other innocent people who were ensnared by the flaws in the justice system and decided to punish all guilty people by using the law, irrespective of their status. He became a role model and epitome of the most sagacious judge.

Episode 14Few thoughts in spoiler tag below
* that is the best birthday gift... Having your deceased family's ice statues to remember them by and getting to say proper good bye understanding their intention, all of them wanted her to have a good life.

* Rong Yu does know how to please her. She had thought earlier that she never wanted to risk loving anyone became it hurt when you lost them, but her icy resolve melts in front of Rong Yu's warmth and care... Who can ignore such loving person?

* when Jiuling called Rong Yu 'husband' he stopped listening to all her plans and agreed to all her requests... The word gave him so much pleasure.

* His Majesty is playing a fool and wants jiuling to be his general... It is very difficult when the power is held by the Regent and the king is just a figurehead.. I am sure their alliance will help them both.

What county magistrate whispered in Lu zhi's ears will always remain a mystery, I guess the script writer could not come up with more harebrained plans so he took the easy way...

But I feel according to Lu zhi's temperament, he would surely take down the person who caused his downfall no matter what he would have said... He had planned to kill himself rather than surrender, and no matter who it was, he wouldn't hesitate to kill the person defeating him...

His assistant that makes sense, county magistrate had an accomplice... Then again it does not make sense for his assistant to kill people just because county magistrate wanted to punish someone, talk about blind devotion.

But I feel whether it was Lu buyou or turtle they couldn't have taken the book to the court, Lu zhi had already bribed and blackmailed people into ensuring he inherited.... Captain Leng, even it was hinted county magistrate would be bribed to help transfer the property to Lu zhi, he had a foolproof scholar witness testifying to the authenticity of the will. .... So diary or a written account of a mute servant against evidence presented by Lu zhi would he ineffective as such.

Episode 12It was a good ride.. I have not seen many chinese mystery series but this seemed to be on the top. Definitely…
* so turtle was county magistrate wei.... Somehow it would have been better if the person murdering the people was Lu buyou, it would really seem plausible... Someone so distant go to this length didn't seem well.... When Captain Leng told Ms.Lin, county magistrate was a cat, I believed him and never suspected him because he was a very obvious suspect.

*Mr.Song was the only honest man... I suspected him the most because after going through such torture and losing everything a person would definitely be against the justice system.... He was really worthy to the judge.

* when Sangeng gave the name to Mr. Xue in the episode 11, I thought he was just playing both sides... But he really wanted Mr. Xue to kill his master's killer... Once again Mr. Song stopped him from going down the dark path irrevocably.

* Lu zhi in the end turned totally black not even a shred of white left behind... The boy who puked upon seeing a fish in the hook turned into a ruthless killer who would kill anyone who got in his path.

So the take from this series is that justice delayed is justice denied for Mr. Song and everyone else.... Lu zhi, turtle(acting on behalf of Lu buyou) and Mr. Song all suffered injustice at one point but the path each took was quite different... Mr. Song became the role model of how to uphold
justice the right way....

Title The Snow Moon Spoiler
Finished watching the seriesReview posted, my full review in spoiler tag below.
This was a very short series, however the airing schedule made it stretch too long... I had started watching it earlier but had to pause it for a time till all episodes aired... However it would not be a problem for future viewers so no need to discuss that.

Actors Zou ye as Bo Qiu and Li JiaQi as Su Xiao Huan did a wonderful job in portraying their emotions within the framework of the story. Even the supporting cast of Xiang Xin as Yu Li and Wang Ting Xu as Xuan Yuan Qingchuan did justice to the role written for them.

The story itself was very simple and motivation of the antagonist was almost non existent, pitting human versus demons would not be beneficial to a halfling, the whole series is focused on killing the demon king, Bo Qiu but nobody stops to question that killing him wouldn't resolve their problems as he wasn't responsible for any of their woes in the first place...the production team with the limited budget tried their best to showcase the tale however if the script had been better the actors could have something more to work on.

What impressed me was the difference between Yu Li and XiaoHuan thought process.... Yu Li reveals that her motivation for creating chaos and slaughtering humans and demons alike was because she had been mistreated by both races in childhood... So she is responsible for the war which is leaving thousands of people hungry, homeless and destitute..... Where as Xiao Huan also states in her conversation with Bo Qiu that she was orphaned at an early age and left to fend for herself, she too had a difficult childhood but she chooses to remember small kindness shown to her by people of offering her warm bowl of food, helping with small things which makes her believe that all people are not bad.... Also Xian Huan's love for animals is heartwarming to see.

Cinematography was the saving grace, picturisation and scenes were shot beautifully.

The instrumental music inserted during ML and FL's emotional scenes was very mesmerizing and soulful. Lot was said in the tune without any words.

Overall : Could be watched once, but not the best mini series out there. Hopefully the actors would get better opportunity in future.

I always thought the murderer is in yamen... I just suspected other people. ... I still do. @PeachBlossomGoddess…
Sangeng could have joined later but he cannot be Lu Buyou because his age is quite young.... At the time of fire Lu Buyou, Lu zhi, turtle all were around 14 to 17 years ... So they must be around 35 years age.... As per that they could be older officers at yamen..

I still think Mr. Song is involved... The writer also threw his name casually in episode 11, then backtracked.

Sangeng would be the only ALMOST honest man left... From the beginning we are seeing he wants to fight crime and punish criminals, he may use devious methods to achieve results but in the end he always ends up doing the right thing... I think he is playing Lu zhi against the killer wanting to punish both of them...

The fishing buddies were Mr. Xue and Mr. Zhang his butler.... We now know Mr. Xue is Lu zhi who was sitting with his butler Mr. Zhang on a fishing boat discussing the murders.

Good point about county magistrate being fortune teller yue's friend but not the killer.

As to why county magistrate did not meet Mr. Xue, I feel that county magistrate is a weak man and if Mr. Xue pressurised him, he would have to release Mr. zhang so he decided not to meet him..... Mr. Song cannot be easily intimidated by anyone so he was the best choice to meet Mr. Xue.

Sangeng, what are you doing! Why are you telling Mr Xue!My guess right now is that Sangeng realised that Magistrate…
I feel Sangeng is definitely playing a long game, trying to catch both Mr. Xue and the killer... Using one as a bait to bring the other out.

As I have just written in the post below, Lu zhi and Lu buyou both were smart but Lu zhi was corrupted due to his wish to be more than a servant and Lu buyou left the righteous path for vengeance... Only Sangeng would remain uncorrupted and upright.. ... Many things are yet to be revealed...
