Maybe at the time of its release, mango tv might share streaming rights with other platforms....as of now, this drama will stream on mango tv/ Hunan tv.
Trailer seems very interesting.. another science fiction with love being the center theme...pity it's 10 mins long and only 1 episode per week...so the series will take 18 weeks to finish? ( Unless the information given on this page is incomplete or may be amended later)

Just watched the series..Even though it starts a little slow and it takes a few episodes to get accustomed to the protagonists and their dynamics, it becomes quite gripping in the later part.
All three of the protagonists : Qin Huo Le, Song He and Fan Xiao Fan have their own strengths and weaknesses.
In the beginning I felt that maybe Xiao Fan would be a little weak but she managed to take me by surprise and became an essential glue that bound all three friends.
It has a total of eight cases, due to the short duration of the drama, they seem to move quickly instead of dragging on.
Some of the revelations at the end of the cases were brilliantly thought out and others quite expected. However the heart of the show is the deep friendship between the three protagonists and their dedication to uphold justice, this bond carried the show on its shoulder.
All the cases form short arcs and they are connected together to form a part of a bigger picture in the end...I found that aspect to be well executed.
A good mystery drama.

It's good that we are getting regular updates about the preparation of second season from the director. I hope everything goes smoothly for the filming, when it starts.
This drama lingers on the mind long after one finishes watching it. I keep going back to re-watch few episodes frequently. Even though the story is quite ordinary, the way the characters interact with each other onscreen makes it an engrossing watch.
Jiang Tian and Sheng Wang's lovestory gives solace to one's heart knowing that love can flourish even in mundane routine life. It's just the way one person cares about the other, making it NOT less than an epic love story.
Hope to get an opportunity to continue the interaction with everyone who loved this series on the page of season 2 soon.

I do love reading, but I find when I read translated novels somehow the essense gets lost in translation...but I will take up your suggestion and read the later portion of the novel as I am curious to know how things ended in the novel.. Thanks for that suggestion.

So in the novel it was an alternate world.
I don't know why but I had presumed that the last reveal would be that Gao Dawei had replicated his image in the game as an NPC, Ruan Lan Zhu.
After Ruan Lan Zhu would purify the game, in the real world Long Jiu Shi and Gao Dawei would meet, having reconciled inside the game, they would live happily in the real world. The drama had always drawn parallel between Gao Dawei and Ruan Lan Zhu...but the drama went the other way.
Also it is quite interesting that the same actor played the role of Gao Dawei and Ruan Lan Zhu.

Well we all are rooting for season 2. We want to SEE what happens next in these boys' story. The juncture at which the show ended leaves many loose ends deliberately to pave way for second season.
I feel that BOTH Sheng Wang and Jiang Tian are suffering equally........The reason for their suffering and the way they deal with it may seem different.
But I would rather the novel and the show take the route of them agreeing to take some time apart.
What would be ridiculous, IN MY OPINION is......
* Jiang Tian would spiral down the dark path and start failing his exams etc etc.
*Sheng Wang immediately would start dating Pepper to prove to himself that he doesn't love Jiang Tian.
👆Above two directions that many novels and dramas seem to take in these circumstances, would be horrendous..... Instead of that, our TWO good kids are being introspective... Jiang Tian gives Sheng Wang some space so as to come to terms with what is bothering him and Sheng Wang may also use that space and time to reflect on his choices and it's repercussions.....
All in all, I feel the route taken by the novel and series at this point of their changing relationship, is much much relatable than showing them going totally wild due to their dilemma.

So that depicts healing and positivity...I have explained that too in my previous post. ( Many platforms have a slightly different translations for the last voiceover of the two protagonists but the one written above is almost accurate in making the point)
From what I understood, Sheng Wang did not FAIL the mock exam, he just deliberately made small mistakes so that his overall score would go below the cut off point required to stay in class A. Even though he would live in the same dorm as Jiang Tian due to a different study schedule for Class B ( Class B required to attend more classes) they would not spend so much time together. Distance from Jiang Tian may give him time to contemplate on things.
In the voice over in the last scene of the season:
Jiang Tian : Can you pass the (Final) test and return back( to the class)?
Sheng Wang: yes!!!!
So Sheng Wang did not destroy himself, first of all it was just a MOCK EXAM the final exam would be held a few months later. If Sheng Wang performed well in the final exam he would be back in the same class as Jiang Tian. I don't think Sheng Wang sabotages his future completely by flunking an important career defining exam just to get away from Jiang Tian. His MOVE to class B is temporary, Jiang Tian was also aware of what Sheng Wang did so he was not heartbroken because of physical distance but rather Sheng Wang's unwillingness to share his worries, hurt him.
I wish people would not be so melodramatic about what Sheng Wang did and Jiang Tian's response to it...The End is not as gloomy as many people make it out to be.

If it was due to distraction, was it just due to his preoccupation about why Sheng Wang was behaving aloof OR was it due to something specific that Sheng Wang said at that moment.
Upon further reflection after your answer, it seems like general preoccupation but also Jiang Tian could be wondering as to why Sheng Wang wore a coat ( notice nobody else was wearing it) coat was another metaphor that Sheng Wang was concealing things.
At that time Jing Tian was asking Sheng Wang why did he wear the coat, was he cold? Did he feels uncomfortable (sick) , Sheng Wang replied that he was not uncomfortable...upon receiving this answer Jiang Tian stopped, thought something then buttoned his coat.
So probably as you said it was just Jiang Tian's general distraction or could be specific thought wondering why Sheng Wang was wearing a coat in the first place.

As per the schedule 1st day 4 episodes and thereafter 2 episodes per day will be released.
Hopefully when the calender is out, it would reveal more episodes per week....
Now we have to wait for the announcement of the airing date.
