What was your take on The Sword and the Brocade?

I’m starting to feel the same way about her acting. I’ve only managed to finish only Royal Rumours (my first drama of hers). I dropped this, Blossoms, and Blossoms of power (and I was enjoying the ML’s shamelessness but couldn’t continue).

Just for Liu Xue Yi, I really hope this script doesn’t fail him.

Maybe one day I will enjoy it, I’ve only watched love and destiny before with Nini but with a lot fast forwarding, but could never watch that genre after.

But I see it has a lot of following and high ratings than normal dramas.

I did try Lost you forever because I loved the ML’s acting and unique voice from Si Jin, but unfortunately it’s not my cup of tea. That genre is not for me.

It looks like a drama that deserves 70 episodes. Hope there won’t be rushing towards the end.

Phew! Now that I know it will be split, I’m gonna try my best to hold out and watch part 1 after the release of part 2.

It’s angst galore but also great writing, acting and depth, it apparently took 3yrs to make which is rare in Cdramas! The first time I watched it, I skipped a lot and now realise it’s like I never watched it.

Comprehension is a skill:-)

I’ve come to realise that I’m not a Xianxia person, however, this is the only drama I enjoyed in the genre.

I’ve many highly recommended ones, but couldn’t get past the first 5 minutes.
