Ep 11-12 showed how tough our girl really is, I hate to say this but she obviously takes after her mum. She can’t see it herself but her disposition is more suited to marry a military man. So, it looks like she will get engaged to Luo Yao. He is cute but to me they look more like brother and sister, that intensity and fire is not there. When LBY looks at her, it is as if she gets swallowed whole.

I think most people agree with you that she should be punished but the way her mother is going about it is like killing a fly with a sledge hammer. She is right in principle but don’t forget her daughter in the drama is only 15 years old.

CSS’ s mother is stifling her daughter spirit . She is not disciplining her the right way; she wants her daughter to yield and be what she cannot. She has never taken the time to properly getting to know her. CSS is better off away from this type of love that seems more like suppression and it is toxic.

I love how FL is so considerate towards her cousin and includes her in her life. She is not biased against her because of her mums favouritism; it shows a generous heart. Although she appears upset about her mum lavishing attention on her cousin, she doesn’t let this fact spoil the relationship she has with her.

She looked like a cute panda; I think his look was more surprise and admiration; he is a person that can see through her; she is willing to give herself 2 black eyes in order to make a point; what woman can do that? The other girl was much worse off. 😊

I am glad that the 3rd aunt has surfaced and actually she can see the FL in the right light. She can see how clever and brave she is. It’s not easy to stand up to that dragon mother of hers. The aunt with her gentle ways is a soothing presence and might be able to give FL some affection and guidance like a proper mother should do not just harsh words and unfairness.

Pan Er was very graceful and elegant when she danced in front of Chi Yan; Crystal Liu is a very pretty lady. I have read somewhere that some of the Chinese audience have complained about her voice being weak and not clear. I don’t understand Chinese but I find her soft tones very pleasant. Sometimes Chinese actresses can sound screechy and annoying especially when they talk like babies. Thank God we have none of this here.
