At first, the events that were happening were kinda thrown at you, but once she was being questioned, everything made more sense. When the mc recollects everything that's happened to her so far, it was repetitive but it was understandable given the plot. I usually don't watch mystery genres but I've heard good things about this show. It seems promising so far.

Not sure why they did the ml getting severely wounded, seems like he's not gonna live when I know plot armor exists and this man is not dying. Maybe to introduce the saintess plot but like--surely there's a better way than repeating a trope of all things. I didn't get why ppl were hating on fl, but now I see why everyone else thinks she's annoying. Like it didn't feel like that before the first time he was injured. I'm trying to feel back for her but,, they pulled the "ml's gonna die" card for the second time, which was unnecessary imo, and she was just repeating his name the whole time while he was trying to choke her like that's gonna do anything (also what was the point of that lmao?? And the fact that they also did the trope where they were referencing a previous scene that was originally lighthearted and then repeating the same thing when ml seems to be on his deathbed is cringey, idk.. I mean, after he got better, her behavior was more natural.

I just don't like how they just threw a random plot thing (oh a bracelet that has love potion effects like what??) w/ no warning and made that the reason MM and ZQ fall out, and ZQ didn't even try to search further, even though he knew something abt the bracelet was sketchy.And poor RS doesn't even know he's being led on accidentally. He'll be so heartbroken when he figures out it's fake. And based on what I've seen of this show, I feel like he'll realize and maybe give up bc you could tell he was about to when she rejected him. He knows when he loses.I've loved the show leading up to this plot arc, and I thought they would do things differently, but it's kinda disappointing they still did the misunderstanding trope.. Maybe how they resolve this will redeem it but idk..looking kinda bleak. It's not so bad that it'll make me drop it but still..

DL wants to get revenge on YS by making JJ fall in love with him bc he knows that she’s special to YS bc of the whole fiasco at the BUI party. And then they become a couple. Then to get back at her, YS gets jealous and gets with the executive that’s always hanging around him. Then, JJ realizes what DL is doing is all a plot OR DL breaks up with her, and she cries, which leads her to go to the hospital (DL doesn’t care that much, maybe her bestie bringing her there), and her bestie pleads YS to help her and he rushes into the hospital and apologizes and then he tells her the truth and confession. In between all that, DL actually develops feelings maybe when they’re still together or smth after their breakup. I’m sure the secretary following DL factors in here somewhere probs w/ revenge to break DL and JJ up. The male leads confront in front of the hospital and duke it out or huge argument ensues and then JJ has to make a choice, but she chooses YS bc rare childhood friend w

Bro I think Wuzhu is an android or smth. His behavior is making more sense in that context. Like Fan Xian’s mom could’ve wiped his memory for some reason, and that would also explain why he’s so good at martial arts bc programming or smth

I'm calling it here. Cheng Pingping is the spy. The spy got leaked right when Cheng Pingping arrived? idk seems sus to me. If this is true, then the writing is lowkey genius bc rn Yan Ruohai seems like the baddie when the one below it all might be the director, but it's all abt perspective. Cheng Pingping is also the one trying to get on the ml's good side so that he has his support.

I feel like the plot point about the mom's legs is a bit shaky, like saying it's bc of the mind to some extent does make sense, but recovery in months or days when she's been like this for years seems kinda like lazy writing to me.On another note, loving Zhuang Hanyan's outfit!! Okay last half of ep redeems itself lmao not them badmouthing each other passive aggressively. But also why'd he do He Wenshen dirty. He's innocent, man..

I'm willing to bet that Wei Liang actually isn't dead bc plot armor (literally). First off, he probably still has the heart-guarding mirror Xiao Tao made for him. When she gave it to him, I was thinking that maybe this would be important later, and lo and behold. Normally, if smth like this happened, I would kinda be put off by it, but this time not so much bc it was planted in a way earlier ep instead of a haha let's tear the audience's heartstrings a bit just to retract it an ep later.

yo HongHong's parents are lowkey kinda goated tho bc she's living in the moment and not realizing that her actions have consequences and that she needs to accept responsibility and not be ignorant of things she doesn't want to deal with. I'm watching this and I'm feeling eugh on the inside bc I think I relate to HongHong in some areas and that makes me feel like a bad person.Nevermind I take back everything I said about relating to HongHong. Now idk if she's just blinded by love and would admit her faults if she was an outsider in the relationship but hooo she can't seriously be this ignorant.....I admire her parents' patience with her. seriously.
