It wasn’t even the focus, but the way they played it—with such depth and restraint—shows they’re not just actors, they’re true masters of their craft.

And yes you are absolutely right, If I was SYJ's agency,I would let her take on all the scripts as a badass CEO.She’d devour that role. Her presence alone screams power—dominance, whatever she touches, she owns.

I have been in a drama slump and finding this gem felt like winning a lottery.
I have had a girl crush on Seo Yea Ji since It's okay not to be okay,but due to some nonsense it's rare to find her new work . except Eve.

I have heard of Lee Joon Gi but am scared to even try to put my nose in the pain of Moon Lovers Scarlet Ryeo.. But 3 ep in,he really fits the characteristics of a master actor..I don't know what happens but good actors are no longer gracing our screens.. writing this in 2025

10/10 I would recommend..no skipping,no boring scenes,well written,well acted and did what it was supposed to do

The female lead is the reason I wrote an angry review before I could even finish the drama..her constant crying and self pity party gave me a headache..Like yeah shit happened..pull yourself together

Am not familiar with the background story but is it necessary to attack a stranger on the internet? can people live their own lives? make their own choices wether bad or good?

I watched this in 2019 and the day before yesterday..I closed my eyes and it was over..
As everyone mentioned..it was rushed and the fact that it was to be renewed for 2nd part made it even worse for the writers who didn't develop the stories that had really good potential

I had no idea how I had completely forgotten about this drama until I watched Eugenie Liu in Behind Your Smile.I didn't even know she was the FL of TP

Anyway it's hard to answer your questions because we were really left in the dark like a blackout in Taipei.
But as delulu as I can be I think I can come up with a random script in my head.
-Xu Yi Hang quits showbiz,the man was ready to throw everything away for Angie.but he has to pay the price,how does he fit in the world or the triad? that would have been epic to watch 😂

-The secret script was given to the director and Lin Yu asked him to look at it and mentor Xu Yi Hang..he might have become a director after all..work behind the scene

-Ling Yun,was going to fight to get her son back with the help of Angie but not without few bloody fights (something that would have made XYH angry and tried to make Angie quit fighting)

-As of Eddy,we all saw that he was coming back for revenge..to be honest he wasn't going to leave just like that..He has narcissistic tendencies.

-We really don't know what happened,but I have heard that Netflix renews shows based on popularity,so maybe this one didn't hit as much as they wanted and the writers had not closed ends thinking they will be back

I’d honestly forgotten how hopeful I was the first time I watched Triad Princess. At least this time around I feel like I got half a closure — I know where our leads are, and even where the almost-villain of the next arc was parked. So fine. I’ll finish the story in my head.

I think I’ve cracked what happened at Netflix HQ.Somewhere during the COVID era, the one guy with the key to the Triad Princess vault got laid off. Or laid. Either way, he’s gone, and so is the rest of the show. 😂I hope the next generation enjoy my rant 😂
