The one question I have is why wasn't there more dialogue scenes dedicated to the aftermath of the wedding? Everyone is talking about the wedding itself, but no one mentions what will happens afterwards? It was kind of implied after their last nc scene, but... Wouldn't that be a massive inner conflict for Nuea? He has lived mostly all his life openly as a gay man and now because of Lom he is basically forced right back into the closet. And that's... Just okay with him? It means nothing?
As a bisexual woman myself, I don't get why the writers wouldn't include that as a big counter point of Nuea wanting to be with Lom. I feel it would be a huge topic for any non straight person that was living openly before. Weird
The problem most people have is that the main plot doesn't make any sense. Lom has no reason not to tell Nuea…
Yeah? In the story there is no reason. I was giving examples as to what COULD HAVE BEEN an interesting reason. I wanted to explain why people are disliking the show so much. Because there COULD HAVE BEEN a lot of interesting stuff, but Mame didn't even try

But the thing is there WOULD be good reasons not to tell him. Like if Lom's parents threaten Lom to destroy Nuea and Yiwa's partner because they have influence and money oooor if Lom is terrified that his parents could find out because of their influence. There are loads of interesting options, this is simply the most brain dead one unfortunately
idk why yall are so mad in the comments but i find this one of the most cute series ever, there is actually nothing…
The problem most people have is that the main plot doesn't make any sense. Lom has no reason not to tell Nuea he doesn't want to marry his spouse, so everything that happens feels frustrating.
The lying thing is only going to cause misunderstandings and unnecessary fights
Yes, exactly. I have nothing against fights or some unnecessary drama here and there, that can be fun! But this is like one single thread the plot depends on. And the lying could have potentially make sense. Like if they were honest in the beginning, but have to pretend because Lom's dad was maybe a big company owner and will only give Lom his position when he gets married. After the marriage it would be fair game. And maybe Yiwa has to get married to get financial independence from her family, so she has to pretend as well. Like give us interesting reasons! It's not that hard
I can't and won't get over how unnecessary the lying is. They just do it to draw the plot out, that is literally the only reason and it's damn annoying. That makes the whole series feel just empty and pointless. Also can we please stop treating lesbians as if they're children and start treating them like adults in a relationship?
A pretty solid first episode. Some decisions on the framing and camera movement had me "huh?" but other than that it was fine. Also the sound effects department really said we're going to town today. I hope we will actually learn a few things about what a wedding planner actually does and see Nuea in serious work-mode and not just use the job description and do whatever.
The first episode was pretty good, they're all a bit ooc but not too much. The fight between Tian and Phupha should have had a different topic though. I refuse to believe the same characters who waited almost three years to be together are fighting because they refused to admit who fell in love first. That's ridiculous. If anything it would have been the opposite and both of them 'fell in love first'. But the second episode? Really? A whole episode about a lost and found and nothing else? I definitely expected more, 1000 stars had such good subliminal writing before where did it all go?
Honestly enjoyed the writing of this show probably the most I ever have when it comes to High School. Really tight. Nothing dragged on for too long and they gave supporting characters real personalities of their own, instead of cheap sarcastic lines every once in a while.
The only one who kinda annoyed me was Yak. Like dude you're what, 20 years old and almost starting university but still care so much that your juniors are dating? Come on, I would laugh so hard
I really hope we will one day get to a point where the children in bl dramas start to not give a fuck about the homophobic parents and just date anyway. It's been overdue for such a long time. Like who cares if Gun's mom doesn't approve? She doesn't accept him being anyway, so her opinion simply shouldn't matter to someone as comfortable with himself as Cher. God in hell.
So as always the relationship that the two main protagonists built over the last 10 episodes doesn't matter and the whole "finding trust and confidence in each other" was useless too. Just for one more terrible drama plot point that will resolve in the first 10 minutes of the last episode. Sweet, some terrible writing decisions just never change, ever~
The music department better get compensated well for their work. They put their whole asses into finding every pianoey song out there to put in every single background scene.
God what a bombshell they just dropped on us! I didn't expect such an interesting twist, I'm definitely curious if they will actually try and make the fighting for justice into the main story line. It's a very delicate topic, but I really hope they just forget it about it in the next episode.
Can we like start a petition to ban beaches from all bl dramas until 2050? The beach is just a symbol for boring, non plot improving filler which sucks because they could have had some actual good scenes.
But the nonsense shipper cheesiness always has to come in and ruin everything.
I don't know or understand what happened production wise. Since the main characters change in the second episode it's hard to care about anyone or anything that's going on. I do like Boy playing the villain, he does a good job but the rest... Not memorable enough.
I wonder if production company will continue with Jack’s story, pairing him with Yacht. I mean, why cast a popular…
Aw that would be adorable. A true coffee shop au and a spinoff all in one. Honestly Mike has been deserving a bigger, more serious role for such a long time. He is fun as the 'funny jokes guy' but he can do more layered characters as welll..
And I imagine him and Yacht would work pretty well together. Now you really have my brain working in overdrive ^^
Oh no, judging by the comments this is where the true nonsense, no logical drama starts for no reason other than filler. And of course it's the best friend who else, now I don't even want to watch this is too stupid. 😩
