I can't believe we even got lesbians at the end, what a sweet ending!
I do have to ask... How this leaving and staying thing works exactly? I understand why they left the first time but... How can they stay but then have to leave. Are they doing the same trip from the bts story every single time? I'm genuinely curious
Oh no that's not the issue at all. I don't have a problem with the colours themselves! If you compare the first scene in the room to them leaving the building or them being in the school the difference in tone and colour is really jarring. Warm orange to sudden sickly green, it's really weird. I understand intention in atmosphere creation etc. but it can't be that because it's always the same atmosphere
Finally someone addresses that issue. Maybe it has become a pattern with most GMMTV's productions, but yes sometimes…
I have nothing against matching colours to moods, but this is... too much. It also ruins the makeup of the mom because you can't really 'enjoy' a well lit scene when the colour is always changing! I immediately thought of Vice Versa too! Like of course the colours had to be great, one of the mains is supposed to be in serious business. What I always wonder is... Does no one like watch it a second time? Just to be sure all colours and lights look good? It's so weird. And it's not even outside/inside buildings, it's literally within the very first scene (where the lighting is also horrible btw) IN THE SAME ROOM. But again it's gmmtv... Always full of surprises
The colour grading and lighting gave me a headache most of the time but the acting is way better than expected. I will never understand GMMTVs weird colour grading. In one scene they're all orange and bright and in the next they're green and sickly looking. It's irritating and always pulls me out of a good scene. Why is it so hard to stay consistent?
I didn't really like FUTS so I hope they'll do a more mature performance here and judging from the first episode they're doing really well! Can't wait for the next episode.
Please- I can't deal with a miscommunication Exboyfriend trope now. AT EPISODE 7? What is this? 100% Gmmtv?I swear…
Why do we see their back story in the first place? Who cares if Jake died, it never mattered before and doesn't matter now. If I'm supposed to feel heartbroken for Kevin they should have made him have an emotional barrier before being with Pluem but THERE WAS NOTHING.
Please- I can't deal with a miscommunication Exboyfriend trope now. AT EPISODE 7? What is this? 100% Gmmtv? I swear to hell if they don't immediately clear everything up within the first few minutes so much is half ruined. There is so much creative stuff you can do- stuff the writers did before! And now we're paddling back to cliché trope #1 in the bl industry? Disappointed, can't say otherwise.
I swear to god this was the trope that had to be included or gmmtv wouldn't support the project financially or SOMETHING
It’s ok, I would gladly make time for both - revenge and spending time with my loved ones. I can multitask -…
Of course! But if I imagine myself, only having a few hours left to live. I also wouldn't waste them on these bullies. These people have controlled his life for months. Not allowing them to influence his last moments makes perfect sense.
They ruined so much, but he didn't allow to ruin the way he leaves this world. I love that, even if it sounds frustrating at first.
It feels like his character changed completely in the last three episodes. Yeah I get that he has Prapai now and…
And people are saying that he fought back HARD in the book. Like until he was physically unable to. And here... Just nothing. Based on everything we've seen of Sky I was half screaming at the screen when the scene started. I will never understand why they made Sky not fight back, it's like he isn't himself anymore, just a shadow of trauma and that's it
I'm saying it again.. they made Sky too much vulnerable in the series. In the novel both of his SA, he fights…
It feels like his character changed completely in the last three episodes. Yeah I get that he has Prapai now and feels less forced to be sarcastic and closed off towards him, but in general he was a strong-willed, sassy guy who never backed down.
It felt like as soon as he had a boyfriend he is suddenly all soft, not fighting back and all mushy. Not both, strong and soft, just soft. Honestly disappointing
And they could've "saved" this mistake at least a bit if they only let Sky mention that he'll still has to "fight…
Yes, that's what upsets me the most. Just ONE sentence about how he is still fighting sometimes and... That's okay. He doesn't need to be perfectly healthy immediately. Healing and moving on takes time.
But no. Everything is perfect JUST A MONTH LATER?! Are you kidding me?!
So in the end, just get a boyfriend and he will heal you from all sexual, emotional or physical abusive trauma with a kiss✨ Thank you Mame, I know she thinks she did something. But... She did not unfortunately.
I know therapy is hard, dealing with your past hurts, building self esteem is hard but hey why do you need therapy when you have a ✨boyfriend✨
listen i dont think everyone understands that not everyone that goes through something like that WANTS therapy.…
The thing is though, that trauma will always come back. Maybe not now, maybe not in five years, maybe not in ten. But something so fundamentally life changing can not be 'forgotten'. No matter how many times Pai will say he loves him, one day the nightmares will come back.
I understand that... You don't want to deal with it, forget about it for as long as possible. That's only natural. But you can't push it out of your conscience forever and sooner or later it will influence your life and feelings once again. And this could have been a really big deal about how important support is and that no matter what happened, you deserve help. You have trauma but the trauma doesn't define you. But it does define a huge part of Sky's character and I personally feel disappointed they didn't go further into his help journey
I haven't watched the final yet but please tell me they let all of Sky's trauma disappear because he is 'officially in love now'. My psych student soul has to know.

Oh dear this wasn't a hard mission this was a death mission.

So how are we, the viewers supposed to feel sad?

I guess I could sacrifice 20 minutes-

I don't think she will ever realise or learn how trauma actually works
My psych student soul has to know.
But this series nearly broke me ngl
