I just finished episode 18, and I take back what I said earlier about not understanding Qiu Shui’s pain. I can truly feel it now. Whether he’s Ming Ming or Qiu Shui, at his core he’s always the same person. the first thing he did after entering this world was try to save Tang Rou.... he didn’t even know him yet.
The way he grieved, walking through his home and recalling every small memory with his family, was deeply moving. He genuinely admired them, treasured his identity as the Xiao family’s young master, and embraced every bit of affection they gave him. Even if we don’t know how much time has passed since he came into this world, for someone like Qiu Shui, even a fleeting moment of love is enough to mean everything.
He is not naive, he is incredibly brave. His strength comes from protecting the truth he carries in his heart, and that truth is his love for the people around him.

I’m absolutely loving this drama..... I just can’t stop commenting here, lol! 😅 CY is delivering incredible acting as always! That fight sequence with Liu Sui Feng was extraordinary, but more than the action, I was blown away by his facial expressions....the fierceness, the anger, the guilt, the tears… everything was just so perfect!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Qiu Shui/ming ming, has such a beautiful heart. Give him just a little love, and he’s willing to give his life in return.... not only for the ones he loves, but also for the ones he believes are righteous.
