Many haters gave low rating for the episodes that have not aired yet so I am giving top grade rating to the drama and for aired episode to balance the haters

I thought the same thing, it may be about censorship and number of kisses allowed on an episode

Wonderful. Very good production with realistic and very well paced script, good acting, beautiful costumes and excellent make up. It is a gem of a modern Chinese drama. The business aspect of the drama is very realistic, I believe every one involved in the production should be applauded.

I heard from this board that JH will slap XS in a public setting. I do not the reason, so I am speculating about the reason. I do not know the origin of this info, it is either from someone who read the novel, or someone who saw a clip about it. I am not sure

After Free Unicorn's boss desire to get the Teng Yue factory from JH and Mr. Du's desire for immediate profit and impatience, I think it is very close. My guess is it would be in episode 30th at the latest

My guess is new boss of Free Unicorn will go to Mr. Du to buy the shares and this will lead to JH slapping Xu Si in public. I think Xu Si will buy at least 2 percent shares of Teng Yue with his own money and enable JH to retain control of the company and prevent Zhong's plan to take over Teng Yue factory. JH should be pissed at first but then she will forgive XS when she learns the truth and they will reconnect. I also think XS will leave his current investment company at one point and start his own company with a different approach at some point in the future.

As far as I understood, Free Unicorn threatened distributors and said they will not be able work with Unicorn if they sell Teng Yue products. They forced them to choose between Free Unicorn and Teng Yue so many of them chose to stay with FU since it is an established brand with more products whereas Teng Yue is starting again with a novice. This is quite a common tactic, many fast food chains are asked to choose between Coca Cola and Pepsi and you loose some of the advantages of buying the product if you are determined to sell both of them, hence many small restaurants are forced to make a choice between the two brands

My Dearest will be 20 episodes so 16 episode is the norm but not the rule. I read somewhere on the forum that the length of the TV season determines the number of episodes in China, Korea and Japan. The season is shorter in Japan so their dramas have fewer episodes. I think production of a good series is heavy work and I can understand why the production companies tend to stick to a format, that is working for them. I am glad Netflix was not involved in the production, however I am sure one of the international streaming giants will buy the rights and broadcast it on its channel when the series is over. I want it to be available to international communities, since I really really like this series. Perhaps I should say, I love it since I am totally obsessed with it.

I think 16 episodes make perfecr sense for wrapping a story. Not too long like C drama or too short like J drama. I hate American dramas that drag on for years, that is what get me into K dramas

He was attacked and was even stabbed when he was a murder suspect. So he became traumatized. Hence the face mask, he is not narcissist. He is humble and sensitive. He feels guilty about the incident since he does not remember much from that night. He also carries a heavy burden of guilt since no one believed him although he was a happy and innocent soul back then

I also thought either CEO did it or he was involved in the incident from the way he talked to his brother, just like you thought.

I do not think Yeon Jun's belief in the King will ever be shaken, even if he observes neither the King nor the Crown Prince is worthy of his respect and loyalty. I think his reasons are quite simple, he cannot imagine a society or a reality other than the one he is taught in the books and he is not a flexible character. I believe he can loyally die for the theory of a good societal order despite seeing signs of it being far from ideal or carrying out the function it claims to fulfill.

I was suprised that it was not fairing that well in the domestic market in the first place. I am not Korean, I have no knowledge of Korean history, however, I am looking forward to each week to watch the new episodes, This is a real gem of a drama, I think eventually it will get the ratings it deserves everywhere.

I looked at certain scenes in Word of Honour to compare Gong Jun's acting with the one we observe in Legend of Anle. The hair style, costumes are very similar in both series, so I thought it would be interesting to watch. Despite the similarities in costume, hair style etc, acting is definitely different. Gong Jun is very good with micro expressions and subtle acting. I can see that he is not only a pretty man but also an actor. It is so easy to see that he can develop his acting in bounds and leaps with a good director and a good script.

Being so beautiful at this stage works against him I think. He not only has beautiful hands and feet, but a beautiful face too. He also has a good body. He also has a very clean and pretty face with expressive eyes, dimples, nice smile. He looks like a very nice and charming person and he is very elegant too. I think these can be disadvantages in acting as well as advantages. Unless his public persona is totally different from his private persona, he looks like a sweet person.

I think he can broaden his scope by accepting different type of roles. Due to his looks he will always be offered upright, hero kind of roles, however it is obvious he can go beyond that given the chance. I would like to see him in a character on the grey scale. It would be also useful if he changes his hair style when he is playing different characters in modern dramas, if it is not against his modelling contracts. It would give him more space to broaden his scope as an actor. If I knew Mandarin I would even offer to read all the scripts to him to write my ideas about what would work and what would not. He is probably earning a lot from modelling, but I think he should concentrate on playing characters outside the ones he is offered. I think South Korean Namkoong Min is a very good and talented actor and would advise Gong Jun to follow his steps and diversify is acting portfolio in a similar manner.

I think he would have a higher chance of doing different kind of roles when he is around 40 or 45 years old, when people are less obsessed with this looks and give him more credit and space for acting. He has the bone structure that would make him an handsome man throughout his life. He will always be handsome however they say people's faces become their own (reflect them in a way) after they are 40 so I am looking forward to see him in different roles in the next decade

On a totally unrelated subject, Gong Jun really has beautiful hands and feet. Don't you think so? I also like his dimples, I hope he has enough scenes to show us his dimples in the final episode
