The first few episodes were great at the friendship-that's-crossed-platonic-boundaries dynamic, ML and FL were more upfront and unabashed about their affection, and the five things concept was nice. But the drama added unnecessary characters, to create arcs that were given precedence over the Five Things, and plot devices were heavily used to move the romance, instead of letting it all happen naturally. It's unfortunate because the chemistry was so good between the leads; they gave me butterflies.

I don't think I have it in me to wait for a year for this to drop. I really hope this drama is a success!

The ease with which Woo Ram and Hyun Ji opened up to each other was not unnatural at all - they liked each other, the sexual attraction was mutual, and they were struggling alone for their careers. Their dynamic was the best part about the movie.

The time they wasted on Ro Sa could've been spent a little on establishing Joon and his choices - just saying

I assume it stemmed from his issues with approval and validation. Once again, if it were explored, it would've done justice to everyone - it's disrespectful to throw in a character, give them so much room to move in, and kick them out.

This was the downside of the drama, along with my very personal gripe with how Haneul and Jimin were written and their dynamics. Frankly, I skipped their scenes.

I wish we had more explanation for why Joon acted the way he did towards Joo Ah, because some of the things he said and did showed he was truly interested in her. One could conclude it to his being a jerk, but I still felt that a character who was prominent in the first half should've remained so in the second half too, including more insight into his choices.

As I watch episode 8, I have a sinking feeling that Joon actually doesn't like Joo Ah at all, but someone else. My heart breaks for her, if it's true

I think they're 20 / 21 here, and I get you. The only one remotely worried about his career is Minho, and I wish I had half a brain as his, considering he completes a programming assignment in one hour. While they do show that they study and worry about what they'll do or if they fit their major (Haneul), university seems easy here. XD

She finally got casted in a highschool romance! A little bummed that it's school based but I am fine since it means she'll be back
