Seeing so many anti-Ma-eum comments, I feel obliged to speak up for her and explain why she is not, by any means, 'naively' positive; knowing and accepting there is the harsh side to life and its bleakness, Ma-eum chooses to address it by looking at the hopeful side of things. It would be toxic positivity had she been adamant on her own terms, but she takes criticism with grace, acknowledges her shortcomings and that not everyone has her philosophy in life. The best example is how she treats Joon Young -- she respects how he approaches work, worries for him for his sake, and does not impose her school of thought on him. (And given how much their values match yet approach to things vary, I believe they would make a very healthy team AND couple, but that's a conversation for another day.)

Same feeling. I wouldn't want that to happen myself - it would just taint their mentor-mentee dynamic. I'm just hoping he's curious because he's nosy or worried.

Ji Hyung is Ma-eum's mentor from what we have been shown so far - why are we even expecting romance on that end? This drama is not supposed to be romance focused, and the only hints we have seen have been on the side of Joon Young. There perhaps is no SL, and that is good! Enjoy the drama for what it is.

I'm enjoying this and don't find it boring at all! It's a slice of life so it will be about the characters, and those are easy to root for, especially the main leads. This is a pleasant watch for the weekend.

Chang Ya is lovely! I really enjoy the actor who's playing the role, he's so charming. Him and Jackie have great chemistry, so I have a tiny SLS.

Thankfully, this isn't fatphobic. If it was, I missed it, but there would've been complaints about it in that case
