Title Doctor Prisoner Spoiler
Lee Jae Jun is a cruel, cruel man. He is also one of those frustrating people you pity. I think it's the fact that I cannot bring myself to like people who knowingly involve themselves with someone who is already committed which could be why I find myself siding with him more than his family. However, I cannot wait for Dr Na to bring him down and get him life imprisonment, if not execution.

The show is getting more entertaining as we progress. Episode 12 was a little on the emotional side, and we got to witness another dimension to the characters, especially Park Hoo Ja. I wanted to sympathize with her, but she is too rigid for me to think that she would want that pity, fictional character or not. That is not a flaw in writing - I think it sends the message across about her personality. The ending was ominous too, but the show did not lose its charm. The interaction between Jung Gook's father and Mi Young's mother made me teary-eyed; whatever they do, they're parents. In the end, I think this is what this episode was about: whatever sort of person Park Hoo Ja, Jung Gook, and anyone else is, they are somebody's children, and whatever kind of person each somebody is, they are parents.

Ugh, you don't look at reports at the spot where you found them! Go home and check them out. Someone could be stalking you. Even smart lawyers have their moments of weakness, I guess. I just knew something like this might happen.

Also, absolutely love the instrumental. The BGM can feel loud occasionally, but when the one with the drums rolls in during developments in plot, like the one at the end of episode 13, I enjoy it! Enhances every thing.

The final scene of episode 13 was very bittersweet. I expected and wanted a few changes in the plot in the initial episodes, but I am happy with this take too. On to episode 14!

The thing about Jung Gook is, he knows he is a bad guy. He is not a hypocrite, like some people... Which is what makes me root for him even more. Anyway, it does not look like smooth sailing, The waters are rough, and reality is about to hit the characters in the face.

Another thing: they do flashbacks better than most dramas. It does not interfere with the pace, for one; and it does not feel like an unnecessary intrusion - usually, you figure out the plan and do not need a flashback, but here you it adds to every thing. It's sad that this drama is being overlooked, though,

What. A. Twist. LMAO. Park Hoo Ja does not feel much, but the irony is dancing naked in front of her, she has to feel its presence this time.

Yi Kang and Song Ja In are my favourites so far. At the end of the sixth episode, I was cheering for Yi Kang. I did not expect to like him, and predicted my favourite would be Yi Hyun. Tables have turned.

Episode 12 was history repeating itself. I wonder what went on behind the scenes, although I feel the scenario is not that different from the original.

Also, go Yuri! People seem to dislike her, but the girl has guts. I wish she had more screentime, however.

Watched episode 11, and the pace has picked up again. I personally missed the courtroom scenes, and thank God we witnessed that this time. Also, what a heartbreaking twist in the end. We were already aware someone had something to do with the heart transplant. I suspected Cho Ki Tak or his sister, so I was not surprised to hear he had killled Ha Yu Ri's father. But I did not expect it to be Choi Pil So's order - of course through the course of the episode, we put two and two together before the big reveal; it was a good surprise.

Okay, Nam Goong Min is good, but Choi Won Young has blown me away with his subtlety. He has little ticks during tense situations, and he hates so quietly, it's amazing to see. What an actor.

Lee Jae Jun may be as rotten as they get, but I am not a big fan of his step mother and half sister either. I find myself supporting Jae Jun internally sometimes. Can't believe I am sympathizing with him.

I don't know if this drama was tying to say something to everyone.. Rising moon, burning sun incident.
It most certainly was! Burning Sun has attracted writers left and right.

I hope they let Hwang and his men join the Tsunami team in season two!!!
I doubt Hwang would be welcomed, given what he has done.
