I've been a pretty big Deng Kai fan for a few years now, but he is scaring the crap out of me here. Sign of a good actor, even making the diehard fans terrified of you! The music playing during his scenes is creepy as hell too. 😭

Spent the whole drama so far wanting to slap her, and I'm not really a person who would ever slap anyone. But I think I can make an exception for her. 🤣

This drama is one of the most beautiful things I have ever watched and I've consumed an absolute ton of filmed, written, and performed media. If you're on the fence about it, you truly owe it to yourself to at least view the first episode.

Lingbo's character development is so uneven. Girl almost seems like she's activating some braincells and growing an actual conscience, but then falls back into being an obnoxious idiot soon after... Oh well, old habits die hard I guess. 😂

I really liked this scene, actually found it beautiful and touching. The music was nice too.

Awesome release time because I can save a couple of episodes to watch on my birthday with a piece of cake. 🤩

So ML's uncle and FL's aunt are the tragic pair in the past? I think I have it right, just wanted to check with others. 😂

I'm so enchanted by Zhou Yi Ran (first time seeing him) that I'm not sure I can objectively rate this show. 🤣

"Wow, that is one TRAGICALLY handsome man" is what I kept thinking during ML's scenes in the first episode. 😂 Looks pretty interesting so far!

For real, sometimes the English titles don't nearly do justice to how interesting the shows are.

Didn't realize that our adorable foxy guy Mu Jiu was going to be in this! He comes across as so energetic and delightful in his roles. What a great cast, just hope the ending will get a little time to unfold and not be rushed.

Yes, it's very interesting how much maturity he is able to project! Some combination of acting skills and having a more "serious" looking facial structure with strong and prominent features, I suppose.

The hotpot argument scene is hilarious. I love them so much. 🤣

"Why is he so handsome?" Indeed! Such adorable chemistry between the two leads. Probably going to break my heart later. 😆

I'm completely in love with the visuals of FL and ML, my god. Cheng Lei in those dark flowing robes with long hair and Wang Churan in that sort of fantasy demon princess makeup and delicate dangling jewelry, just amazing.

Can someone spoil me on the ending of this please? Happy/Sad/Open?

One of the funnier versions of this trope. ML and FL both good and very well-suited to their roles, easy watch and great to just chill and laugh a little.
