I get it. so I’ve shifted my attention to Bu and Cui and it’s working well for me so far

tbh I’m more invested in their relationship than the leads. but I’m a teense sad bc it’s starting to feel like any intimate scenes from them will only be suggested. 🥲

made it to episode 4. I don’t know what’s wrong with this drama. I just know it’s not captivating enough. I turn it on and I’m literally playing on my phone. I’m not interested in the leads relationship AT ALL. so odd. the story tried to lay a foundation with the letters??? but maybe that just wasn’t enough??

and maybe he came on a little to strong with how annoyed he was at everything without the audience getting a proper backstory? I mean now we know by episode 4 but… I’m still not interested. i think we all know ZLH does that broken forceful angry romantic role well but… SPOILER (him doing that aggressive kiss against the mirror? I felt absolutely nothing.) WHYYY. and that’s when I knew. something is wrong here.

so I ask myself hm. is it bc my expectations were just too too high after POJ? someone pls put this into words. there’s something off about this drama. leads are great. they have chemistry. but… something ain’t right

same, you’re not alone. watched speed and love and powered through bc of Heyu. her and her 1000 outfits that was so obvs HER, as in ESTHER, and not the character. even the styling in this drama for her is completely over the top imo. just makes me feel like she had more than just “a say” in the styling.

all the love and light to her fans and the support she gets but it’s really, really hard to watch her sometimes FOR ME. but she gets good scripts and good male leads and sigh. what are cdrama junkies to do but watch and pray when good dramas are hard to come by!

watching this for Bu and Cui. she’s so good at playing a playboy! and he’s so good at being a rigid scholar who inevitably and unintentionally falls hard for her.

this. I just finished episode 24 and there’s 36 episodes. and only now do we see some potential feels from her. this could def happen in real life, girl isn’t interested in guy, guy continues to pine. but I’m not watching this for a slice of real life. I want the drama. I want the hidden affection. spot on with her character not being very likeable. it’s hard to ship when you have someone giving 110% and the other is literally 0%. it’s just not a fun watch

real talk. and MZY isn’t even one of my faves. this is my first time seeing HY in costume. I’ve only seen him in speed and love. but the story is intriguing! acting is good!

didn’t check the ratings and started this drama. what the heck! this is actually GOOD so far.

wth is wrong with this drama. it was heavily anticipated to be July and it’s currently July. not asking for it to be out now bc I’m a peasant without power but an official air date would be nice?!?
