I think male leads rarely kiss back when FL is not all there UNLESS FL somehow directly indicated to the audience and ML that she wants him too or is 100% interested in the male lead. I think it has something to do with censorship and consent.

in LITC, she was also hallucinating but in her reverie, she was able to show us she was speaking the truth in how she feels about the male lead so HE and US know she truly loves him.

I think another example is MuMu in SAL kissing ML for the first time but he stood there like a statue not kissing back. but she went in for it AGAIN so that was likely her green light.

just my thoughts! plus it also gives fans something to look forward to! a real kiss from both sidessss ❤️

I skipped all their scenes. that actress has way better chemistry with ML’s bestie. not sure if producers intended it to be this way? but that story line is too draggy. I think they tried to go the mysterious route but it’s just falling flat every single time

ugh you hit the nail on the head. I didn’t think about how their relationship started which was just from scratch!! like most people! so it’s cute to see random everyday interactions turn into something more. I also was obsessed with He Yu in speed and love and I find myself comparing the relationship (the relationship not the actors) and the way the characters in SAL already knew each other and had history, it’s completely different than new love. the character in SAL was also younger in school so she felt like a kid. so LYX’s role here feels so mature and just pleasant to watch.

every time second couple comes on screen, I have zero interest. they lack chemistry and their visuals are just so so compared to the leads. I also have no idea where they’re going with that storyline

I keep asking myself which pairing I like more!! I love her in both honestly. maybe this one sliiiightly more bc I like CXX’s mature feel. he seems very grounding for her free spirit vibes. the production for this drama too feels very earthy with the sets and the warm toned hues. feels safe and comforting.

last time I watched him was goodbye my princess! this guy gives off such a mature vibe but he’s only 29!!!
