The father talking about the towels from the insurance guy, how he'll use them after the family reunites and that there's one for each of them (him, his (ex) wife, his son), the way he talks about needing to catch his now GROWN ASS SON because he ran away as a kid (essentially viewing his son as still a child), and how he expects them to be a family again, the whole thing is completely wild and delusional.

Both of the scenarios you suggested are for the express intent on drawing Ki Ho out/finding him, which is what I was saying, lol. The only reason for him to go after Mok Ha at all would be to get to Ki Ho. If he didn't think it would lead him to Ki Ho, there would be no reason for him to do it.

I want to know this as well, but I think Woo Hak wearing glasses is a red herring, because it's way too obvious.

We know the flowers were sent to Mok Ha for the specific purpose of drawing out Ki Ho. And Ki Ho's father gave the flowers directly to Woo Hak to deliver them to Mok Ha. Logically, it seems like he would have to know who Woo Hak is/his connection to Ki Ho in order to know that sending those flowers through Woo Hak would draw Ki Ho out. But if all he knows is that Woo Hak and Mok Ha are friends, then sending her flowers through Woo Hak wouldn't do anything, because how would Ki Ho even know about the flowers if Woo Hak didn't tell him?

If my theory above is correct, then this also tells us that Woo Hak isn't Ki Ho, because Ki Ho's father wouldn't need to bother with sending the flowers. He would just confront Ki Ho.

The potential plot hole with this theory is that if he knows who Woo Hak is, then it's a little confusing that he doesn't also know who Bo Geol is or that he doesn't just follow Woo Hak around so he can find out.

So this is a theory that may not actually work, but I'm starting ep. 5, and something just hit me. See below comment.

I would agree if she had gone from early 20's to her 30's, but shoe size can change a lot when you are going from early teens to your 30's.

Ah, ok. I assume they are doing one ep a week since there are fewer eps than Kdramas typically have. You might be right though.

That was my point. Even if he is Ki Ho, neither he nor Woo Hak could actually know her current shoe size, since it would not be the same as when they were in high school.

Just an FYI, the airing schedule issue definitely isn't some kind of strategy. This sort of thing happens every year during baseball season (and I believe soccer season). It just typically only affects maybe one or two dramas airing times. There's nothing the people behind the drama can do but just suck it up and deal with it.

It's not a strategy. This just happens with dramas sometimes when different sports seasons come around. Baseball is a particularly popular sport in Korea and a big moneymaker, so drama production teams just have to deal with it.

Eh, actor age gaps are pretty common in Kdramas, so I wouldn't put too much stock into it.

A lot of people are getting hung up on Bo Geol giving Mok Ha a pair of shoes, and I just want to remind everybody that her feet would not be the same size after 15 years, so I don't know how much weight we can put into him knowing her shoe size.

(I'm team Bo Geol, btw. Just don't think the shoes can be seen as evidence.)

The relationship dynamics of this drama are completely nonsensical. I don’t understand almost any of the writing choices. I was looking forward to what I thought would be a lighthearted summer drama. Lots of beach vibes, some sweet romances, and good fun. This definitely is not that.
