Do San and Dal Mi are a real match made in heaven. Not a batch made in haven.

That time of the fake letters is not memorable for him because it was a chore for him to write these letters that he called "stupid". But what he will realize now is that he should have better used that time to really know Dal Mi. Too late for him. the DalDo ship is sailing already.

Dal Mi would never pity her Grandma but she would help her go through the hardship. Grandma is Grandma but she can make wrong choices like plenty of grandmas. She knew it is short term solution and she agreed Dal Mi would discover it sooner or later so why she wanted this. Do San had the idea of NoonGil and he told Dal Mi the truth when the timing was appropriate : he had found a way to help grandma worry less and face her reality so no need to leave Dal Mi in the dark anymore.

Regarding the fake letters and the fake Do San, the lie was running since 15 years already. He added to them but he also decided at times to tell the truth like when he went to meet grandma. He never had a real opportunity as the timing was always wrong and he had to carry the lies further because in reality, he doesn't want to loose her. That's selfish I agree with you but that's understandable because he really likes her.

For me he is not the one to explain things to Dal Mi. Ji Pyeong and Grandmother should. But based on what we see at the end of ep8. Dal Mi will probably discover the truth herself by comparing with real Do San's handwriting. and she will go confront him. So he will take the beating first when he is not even the origin of the lies.

I don't think In Jae abandoned Dal Mi for money and comfort. At that time their mom was a housewife and her situation was precarious too. In Jae could not have foreseen her mom would marry a rich man. But the story about In Jae dumping the food she did not like for Dal Mi to eat, that tells how bad she could behave towards Dal Mi.

They did not force him. Do San made the decision to go to the party by himself. Because he fell in love at first sight with Dal Mi when their eyes met in the park. Later he knew about her story and decided to give her an helping hand and meet her again. The truth is he had no idea what he was going into. He went there without a plan. He just wanted to see that pretty young woman again. If she had looked like Dwayne Johnson with earrings, he would probably not have decided to go.

Now some people accuse him of taking advantage of a situation which was not created by him. They say he is enjoying benefits that these people should harvest But Do San is genuinely a good person and he is caring and considerate of people. He does participate in the lies but he really feels uncomfortable with them. He has a really good nature. The fact that he decided to go against grandma's will and told her illness to Dal Mi shows that he cares to find a better solution for the people (Grandma and Dalmi) instead of just doing what he was asked.

People are hating him because they are biased. They don't want to see that Do San is enjoying benefits because he loves people and he is in the right timing when dealing with them. For example he had the idea to use SST to create an app for the visually impaired because of grandma. Her words and worries and her wrong solution to hide the truth to Dal Mi and Ji Pyeong triggered him to do something to help. This is what brought grandmother and grand daughter together to face the illness.

This is why Dal Mi is already falling in love with him. She will be angry but she will surely put that fake NDS behind and embrace the real Love she has found. People can hate NDS all they want, he will win the cup and kiss the princesss in the end.

You are thinking too highly of Grandma. Her good intentions do not always lead her to make the right choice. These letters were a scheme to comfort Dal Mi. She did not want Ji Pyeong to make real friends with Dal Mi because she wanted to make sure she will write the letters with him and use the right words to comfort Dal Mi as she knows her better. Ji Pyeong was an orphan who was focused on becoming successful. He could not have the empathy and right words for Dal Mi. Later he himself said they wrote these stupid letters together.

She will become better surely but I don't like the way she uses underhanded ways against Dal Mi like using the swing's story for her advantage or when she sent her to her step father for the job of collecting datas. So sneaky.

Ep8 was so good. I liked that is was more business oriented with a few but very emotional moments. I really liked Do San when he chose to tell the truth to Dal Mi even if he agreed with grandma to not tell her. Grandma is a good person but lying to Dal Mi about her real situation to avoid facing the reality and to enjoy her smile was selfish and a short term option. I praise Do San for understanding that Dal Mi is his priority and for going against grandma's will to lead her into a better solution. Also kudos to the cousin. He is cool. If Ji Pyeong doesn't want Sa Ha I will ship him with her.

The misunderstanding will be resolved soon. I just hope Dal Mi will not dwell too long in uncertainty

Yes she will be in Who rules the world which will be a big challenge. 2021 will be busy for her too.

I also wish they use more time to develop their company and their career. We are almost half of the drama and so far, SST is still stucked. OK it is a framework where we learn about the feelings and personalities of the main characters but I wish they use some work related plots. Let's wait and see in the second part if it happens.

He said himself the letters were stupid and he refuses to take responsibility for them so how can you derive he has feelings for her and he is the original NDS. That's beyond me that you put something on him that he does not even acknowledges. Why call him the original NDS when he said himself NDS of the letters was made up by him and Grandma. Means he is not that Do San and not the writer of the letters. I agree he is developping feelings for her now but he never any feelings for her in the past through the letters.

Starting as an orphan and to become a successful investment mogul it shows his qualities and competences. It makes him enviable and anyone aspiring to succeed would take him as a role model. But the good thing about his character is that he is not the perfect self made man. He has flaws.

In ep7 when he is ranting alone in his car and makes a sudden and reckless u-turn to go to Dal Mi's house, it reminded me of Young Ji Pyeong when he saw that grandma had emptied the account and he ran to her house. He is still irritated and hot headed in some situations.

I think he differs from the tsundere type as he does not evolve from a cold attitude to a warm one. Deep inside he is not a warm and caring person like tsundere male characters are. He was always like that. Someone who doesn't express his feelings and doesn't take them into account in his decision making (so far) but he can also show a smiling friendly and communicative attitude on the outside.

For me he is not the most lovable or endearing character but he is the best written one with real depth and complexity and consistency from his young age until now.

He should go for Sa Ha. She is haughty but she has a good nature.

Some people want to see a romantic plotline starting from these letters . They want the usual storyline "they were childhood lovers and now they meet again" . In reality, the fact that HJP did not write these letters by himself and the intricated situation he is in now make his character even more complex, interesting and endearing.

If not because of HJP And Grandma , NDS would not be in this lying scheme. Before he meets these people, he cared not to be misunderstood like when he came back to explain to his father about the door. He is piling lies and lies now because of these two. Last ep he said he will explain the letters to SDM but Grandma and HJP keep dragging him into more lies. If these two were out of the picture, he would just tell everything to SDM. He has an innocent nature and he is uncomfortable she might like him for who he is not when he genuinely likes her.

You can call NDS a liar, a manipulator or whatever you want. It is your own understanding and you are entitled to form your own opinion.

Dal Mi is a down to earth person and she is smart enough to sort things . She will know who lied to her and why and make her own judgement. She might be angry at Do San but not for long. He is her solace.

Like you said, you believe. It is only your belief. It is not in the drama. HJP himself said he wrote the letters with grandma and like you said, Dal Mi whould know it that these two wrote the letters.
