The actors would be stupid to be paid by number of episodes.. If your name is Kim Soo Hyun and you will not accept to be paid by the number of eps because the ones paying you would go nowhere without you.

Again 12 eps x 90 minutes are same as 16 eps x 60 minutes. The total hours and minutes are the same. No matter how you slice it.

The actors are probably not paid by the episode. They surely negociate an amount for the whole project. As for the crew, they are paid by hour. They will spend a booked amount of hours. Pretty sure this production is a big as a 16eps drama.

How is it a short drama? 12 x 80 mns is like 16 x60mns. It is just that each ep better be good so ppl don't get bored.

There is nothing wrong for a community or a group of people to support a work they like. Nobody forces anybody anyway.

Looks like cops vs gangsters but it is more the tragedy of three people.

The princess has a sad story that made her stronger but also she as an extreme logic. She recognize the ML is an intelligent, self assured and capable man but she does not understand why such a man is infatuated with that woman. I hated that she pushed the ML into hunting her. It is something quite cruel to do. Maybe she wanted to test the depth of his feelings?

The drama has already plenty of cruel characters. It would be disappointing that a woman like her just ends up an agent to torture the ML and the FL. I hope there is complexity in her characterization.

As for Ryang Eum, let's see if this week end's eps make things clearer...

Ryang Eum, I really liked him in part 1. But in part 2, he is the other wtf evolution that I am still processing. I hope things develop in a good way for him because I am not sure where he stands now.

You mean the scene in the school in Singapore? I am not sure I understood it. I felt llike Dr Mo went to see her daughter Byeol that she sent to a special school in Singapore and the kid became a genius with the same face as Ro Hee. I found it funny but not sure if I got it right.

She chose to marry the officer and was happily married for years with no problems. They lived as husband and wife, and she never had issues with his personality. But now her husband is so bad and jealous because she was abducted. So she wants to stay with her ex suitor. How convenient. She resisted but her little adventures brought her back to the ML. That must be fate.

No need to hold hand or kiss or bed together to cheat. All it takes it to voluntarily lie or keep your partner or spouse ignorant of where you heart and intentions lay to take an advantage or enjoy a situation. She is cheating in her heart and in her head already. He is no better than her because he should see her as the married woman she is but instead his silly infatuation is encouraging her.

Scarlett was in love with Ashley but she respected her husbands and never took immoral stance like "My husband is bad, I am going to find a suitor who is so good to me". She was an immature person but also a responsible one. The characterization is important and the one of the FL here with her action away from her husband is not good for me. Of course, threatening the princess regarding the life of her ex-suitor was acting on her feelings.

I do not expect her to go to her husband and clear her situation. I think they will keep using the husband as a roadblock and a cuck until he does something crazy and dies the jealous man he is.

The truth is that we the viewers know what the husband did and does and we can judge him on that calling him jealous or pushy or irritable or scheming or planning to have her killed. But the FL does not know. It is like showing the husband stealing the couple's money and the wife says, "I prefer to go back to my ex-suitor” and we say it is because her husband stole their money. But she did not even see him stealing the money. Why justify her actions based on things that we know but she does not know? That's poor writing.

Putting a suddenly jealous, ridiculous useless husband in the middle belongs to cuckolding stories. Not romance.

What a joke. She decides to marry the officer. They marry, bed willingly on that night, live, eat and sleep together in a perfect marriage. Then suddenly she is abducted and the husband become like a bad man and this frees her from her wedding vows?

She should go back to her husband clear her situation. This is what someone with decent morality should do no matter what her husband does. But I guess she is a "modern" woman.

Yes lets see what will happen but this part is poor writing.

To me the relationship between ML and FL was strained before the undercover operation. We don't see their love story. We barely see them in a warm comfortable situation, like a loving couple. Talking and communicating like a couple. Their bond was not so strong.

On the contrary, we see FL and SML play, ride bike, talk about dreams and future, kiss. Their bond as teens was stronger and the way it ended gave some sense of unfinished story.

The three of them did not expect that situation to happen but it happened like by fate. And it broke them by taking them far into actions that created doubt.

The operation lead them on a dangerous path where they had to pretend but it created misunderstandings and it led to catastrophy. Eui Jeong cared so much about Ki Chul and after he died, Joon Mo could not stay with his wife and be remembered everyday all what they went through.
