Nah... It was not about their romance. It was about an experience that can break people. Mrs Lee?... She was an endearing lost girl but this kind of girl... men wish why they did not bang her. They do not wish they will meet her again.

Yes, it is a possibility because she never looked too loving with him in reality. The guy looks someone from a poor family who met a rich cop family's girl at the same police academy and managed to marry her but they never liked him and looked down on him.

I agree that necklace is FL's necklace, but I doubt she was in love with her first love all the time she was married. Her past good feelings were revived maybe but she did not fell in love again.

These two items are the symbols of the feelings shared between FL and SML and the feelings shared between ML and FL. And they both rest there because they both came to an end.

I think her reaction is normal because the guy was her first love, and he was dying in front of her eyes. She was sad and crying and helpless. She showed that she was desperate and could not think straight. She was overly emotional.

It is understandable. It does not mean she loves him, and she is losing her lover now. It just tells that she has a past first love that her husband never suspected, and that past grew important again and it created confusion between husband and wife.

Instead of going through a long and difficult process of explaining and rebuilding their link, it looked better to just go separate ways. Their story looked nothing special anyway and no strong bond. Her family even looked down on him. Maybe it was the last straw that broke the camel's back.

I also noticed that she failed to respond clearly. She should have said that she did her job as a cop and that she needed to stop him. Instead, she gave him an answer that just created misunderstanding and confusion.

I do not think she loves the SML but what she said and made the ML think maybe she does. Maybe that man has a part in her heart that he never suspected, and he might not be able to deal with it considering that he also grew to like Ki Chul.

In the last images of FL, she is clearly torn and regretting to see that man her husband is walking away from her.

Sad for Ki Chul but still not to late for ML... 😅

I did not take it like "ok she loved you so I give up on her and I give her to you". He is dead anyway and maybe after separating from her, FL will meet some bloke and marry again.

The question I asked myself is somebody came to the grave and deposited flowers tied with a necklace which is the same that Ki Chul and FL used to have (FL gave one to him). Who and why? Why the two items are left on the same place?

Anyone has a theory on this I will be glad to hear it.

Minutes before confessing, she was ready to take her gun and shoot him on the seashore if necessary. I think she lied to him because she needed to stay in the loop and close to him and see how the situation evolved so she can inform her husband or save him if necessary. I did not feel any sincerity in that confession and the promise to give him all the support he needed.

There was barely warm words and warm moments between the husband and wife. They exchanged or communicated to show their concern and worries for each other but rarely their love. They never smiled at each other or showed complicity.

I do not think FL loved the SML. She had affection and concern, but I do not saw it as love like she can't stop herself from thinking about him or trying to be with him or talking about their past and their future. She was cold and uncomfortable when Ki Chul talked about these.

I think Joon Moo and Hui Jung were in a not so happy marriage and the investigation showed that they emotional concern could be somebody else different from their spouse without implying Love. That is what finally split them.

My fav pairings are with Nam Ji Hyun in Suspicious Partner and Park Min Young in Healer. But It is not only the pairing. I loved these two dramas.

You are right. Let's hope the story is good and surprising.

I do not think they cheated on each other but I think their marriage was shaky beforehand and that "investigation" just managed to split them because they were emotionnally not connected anymore. They were not emotionnally involved with another person but between them there was no husband/Wife/lovers' communication.

I agree with that. I do not think FL loved the SML anymore, but she was not doing anything to help her husband. She put him at risk. She did not listen to him. She was never caring or affectionate with him and she was overly concerned for her first Love. I don't hate her. I really feel sorry for her in the end. She did not know ML did all that shitty investigation to become her level and have a better marriage but in the end, he was shaken to the core.

I do not think it is reasons good enough because it is mostly misunderstandings and forced situations. But I do agree that what they lived is enough to break them apart. FL looked terribly sorry whan she saw ML walking out of the graduation room.

I think this is where the problem is. She clearly did not have love feelings for him but she took a grey stance. When Ki Chul asked her if she was sincere with him, she said "sincere of not, I will have to live with it". Also, when he was shot, she was overly sad and worrying to the point she did not call 119. That made ML think that his wife was emotionally involved with that man and considering all what happened to them, he took his decision.

I also think he gave him a warrior's death instead of him having a coward's death. I thinks ML really ended liking the SML.
