But maybe your referencing like how Tang San has to like progress through his powers kind of like Deku had to control All Might's power without always breaking his body in the process lol. I also think Deku & Tang San think while they are battling & just don't throw punches & hope it lands. I definitely see some similarities

I probably will never like her. I have never been a huge fan of cutesy characters - it's just my weird preference that I can't stand bubbly people lol.

I have been looking to see if I can foreshadow the twists because I know Wang Juan is known for adding them. But so far I have no idea lol - just have to wait until it becomes more obvious. But the story looks like its getting along so let's see.

When Ao Si Ka had Tang San cornered I really felt for him lol. He didn't want to be mean but he also didn't want to be there. But Ao Si Ka has made me laugh at several occassions so I can forgive his excessive banter lol.

AGREED!!! Omg when she left him in the forest it got me super mad. Like excuse me, they entered the forest together & he is the one that is helping him develop his skills to become a better fight - NOT YOU. The relationship between the master & Tang San is my absolute favorite - they are so loyal to each other its cute.

Rofl maybe or maybe I will join u with not liking him XD lol. I think I mainly like the reactions people have with Ao Si Ka's foolishness lol. Like Tang San just looks at him like "What did I get myself into" lol.

I also really like the Master's character (I had to google the Chinese character's so hopefully google did not let me down with the translation lol). It seems like I am in a minority with liking Ao Si Ka :/. I mean I get thinking he is annoying but I still think he kind of a funny fool lol. His endless banter is also a bit . . .but I think that is what makes him a bit foolish/funny lol.

I also bought the VIP lol. But I agree I hope people can try to watch it on official channels - especially since there are so many free options like the youtube channel. Also I think the Tencent app allows you to see it for free even without applying for a username.

You know - now that you are talking about the Star War outfits I can see it lol. They do look a bit similar. It has like the same silhouette, good catch lol.

I loved the fight they had with the Grandmaster in like Episode 8 I believe. It looked bad ass & just great cinematography. I hope they do more fight scenes with like Tang San releasing both soul powers at full strength. But I feel like they will save that for like the Big Boss fight lol.

Star War reference rofl!! To be honest I do like Ao Si Ka (at times), only because of the interaction between the other characters. You could see the surrounding characters also think he is a bit . . . . foolish. I totally understand if people think he is annoying - since I do as well at times. But I feel the character does a decent enough job that you could look pass it lol.

Dai Mu Bai seems really arrogant - I wouldn't say a total Anakin because Anakin had reasons for his turn to the dark side. I would go on a huge rant about that but let me not lol. Dai Mu Bai seems more like he believes he is strong & everyone shoudl just kiss the ground he walks on. Like when he told Tang San that he is the leader - I was like OH BOY *extreme eye roll*. He also seems to dislike anyone that uses "tricks" or uses knowledge to gain power - seems very close minded. But I am hoping for character development for him since we have only seen him for like 3 episodes.

I absolutely love the relationship the master & Tang San have with each other. Tang San respects him & truly believes that he is useful for him acquiring more power. He doesn't care if his Master has only 2 rings & he could possibly overcome him in the power dynamic once he acquires his 3rd.

However, Tang San is consciously aware that not everyone believes in the same idea as him. That's why when Ao Si Ka asked him how many rings does his Master have - he was very reluctant because he didn't want them to look down at him. But he still told them because he honestly believes that strength is not the end all be all. Knowledge is also a key factor in getting stronger - and is the main reason he has been able to progress with his power.

The Master also truly cares for him because he can't believe that Tang San actually has taken him in as his Master - even with just 2 rings. I think it makes him believe that maybe his path of books & knowledge could actually be helpful. I really love these 2!!!! Best relationship thus far in the drama!

Well hopefully as the series progresses it will for you. I always feel the first few episodes of a tv series is just there to get your attention its always the middle or end of the season/drama that cements if its good or not lol.

Tang San's face everytime Ao Si Ka grabs him and starts going on his ridiculous rants lol. It's like he is regretting his life choices which led him to meeting this man ROFL.

Ummm too many questions now lol. Well I hope she at least stops being all - well whatever she is lol (sorry I couldn't find the word for it XD lol). Right now she is definitely my least favorite character - so hoping for some immense character development.

I already knew - since I am a fan of XZ. He has a lot of beauty marks lol.

When did we evolve from a neck fetish to a beauty mark fetish lol? I was just staring at necks - now we are looking else where for beauty marks lol?

Okay episode 8 & 9 was amazing. The story is finally picking up & the new characters that are introduced are so interesting, especially Ao Si Ka & the Headmaster. I think Ao Si Ka is a damn fool lol, but so damn funny with his stupid "it is ART" lol. Like can I slap you please? lol. He has made me laugh so far in the last 2 episodes - so clearly he is a comedy relief character lol.

Episode 9 is definitely interesting - but they ended it on a cliffhanger. Now I must wait 24 hours for the next 2 episodes.

He really is - he definitely is a favorite character of mine. Not so much Xiao Wu - but I might be a bit bias because I dislike clingly/childish characters. I find that her character isn't that interesting or just plain cliche if anything. I hope she gets some character development or that part of her changes. But I like the other characters - so it makes up for it.

I think a judgement at the half point mark is a good choice - anything less is just not giving something a fair chance at all. I also tend to drop shows at the half way mark because I already know it just isn't for me unless the first episode is like totally BLAH! But this drama is actually going at a good pace with a pretty intriguing story line. So far I am absolutely loving it & the fact that it has comedy just adds to the pleasure.

I don't understand why people think the ratings are good because Xiao Zhan is in it - yes he has a following but putting all his fans into one category is being bias. Not everyone that likes a certain actor will have the same opinions or remarks. Some of them might like something but dislike something totally different. Everyone also has their own grading system - mine might be different from yours. And not all will give a 10/10 but might actually have some criticism towards it - I have seen plenty of fans have constructive criticism & majority of fans just give their opinion towards the situation. I think it only gets heated when the criticism is just plain rude or disrespectful - which I feel like if the person is being disrespectful then you shouldn't be surprised if other people recriprocate with negativity.

What have you made me become lol? A person that is examining necks - now I see Dai Mu Bai also has a beauty mark on his neck XD!! Endless cycle now lol.
