Annoying some time because they have their logo stamped across the right side of the show - which can get annoying to look at for an entire 40 minutes.
Quick with subtitles (same day)

Viki:
Takes longer with subtitles (they have the first episode fully subbed as of this moment)
But no annoying logo stamp on video

So upto you - which ever you prefer. They both are free & same quality!

& the first episode did not disappoint. I can't get over how great the first episode was!!

If I could like your comment 100 times I totally would. Even the most popular adaptations like Harry Potter & Lord of the Rings aren't 100% true to the books - there will always be scenes that will be different from what you imagine. It isn't easy to make humans do something that an author depicts in a story since they have to deal with gravity & the extent of what CGI can accomplish.

I hope people can just have an open mind when watching the show - and let minor flaws of the story pass.

Btw if the Tencent app doesn't work (like it didn't for me because I live in the States) just use a good VPN. I personally use WindScribe and put location as Thailand - it will then work.

Omg the first episode was absolutely amazing, incredible, fantastic, you guys get the point lol. The scenes were absolutly amazing and the story line so far is on point. I can't wait for the next episode - it's gonna be painstaking to wait everyday for a new episode but from what I have seen - totally worth it!!!

If I am not mistaken I heard it is supposed to release at 12 pm on CCTV and 12:30 pm on Tencent. So you might have to wait about an hour since its 11:17 am at China now lol.

Sadly because this drama is supposed to air on Hunan TV - it will probably take a while because they have their own schedules & probably a huge list of dramas waiting to air just like Oath of Love.

For reference, there was a drama that aired on Hunan TV at the end of January 2020 but was filmed from September 2018 to November 2018 (Oath of Love finished filming November 2019). So, this isn't anything new - we just have to patiently wait when it is Oath of Love's time to shine. (Also, the pandemic probably caused a lot of delays as well)

Overall, I think this drama will be amazing because of the beautiful performance by Yang Zi & Xiao Zhan at the Tencent Awards. :D

I heard the douyin for Oath of Love was verified. Usually when that happens it means the show is going to be released soon(-ish). So hopefully we will see Dr. Gu & Mrs. Gu in the very near future :D!

What is with new content like 4 times a week lol? I am not complaining but it is getting difficult to catch up to all the updates. I also follow that person on twitter XD!! She is such a sweet/cute xFx - I love her comments on Xiao Zhan (very informative!).

Reading the essay he really is intricate with the way he weaves his words together. The way he describes things in such a beautiful tone and capturing the feelings he has for his city in order to convey it to others. This is what makes him different from others & breaks that conventional mold, at least for me. As much as I enjoy his acting/singing & how much effort he puts into it - I love the insight he gives others in what those roles mean to him. It truly shows that what he is doing isn't just a job but his passion.

Grateful to those that translated his words so international fans can also have an insight to those moments.

It was definitely an amazingly detailed episode - learned a lot about the city & how intricate the landscape was & how they used it to their benefit. Definitely wished it was longer though!!
