This was truly unexpected of how much I enjoyed this drama - didn't think that would be the case because it being a period drama and all. But the writing was really good and I enjoyed it! It was fun talking with everyone on this page and discussing the drama. Hope to see you guys on another drama page :).

Yea but I am glad that at the end HHL realized that she was in the wrong and that she could only love someone who loved her back. That she did make mistakes. I think that is why I like this drama so much - yes we have people who made wrong choices but the fact they can address it and realize that they should have never done what they did.

I think HHL realized that she should have never married YGH just for his money because it never made her happy. And I think that is why in they end they divorced. Glad as well. I was worried they were going to make them get back together which just doesn't make any sense. Made more sense for them to divorce and for HHl to concentrate on herself because that is the type of person she is.

Yea, YGH really allowed his jealousy to just consume him and was never able to get over the past while XCS was able to flourish and kept growing. That is why the only reason YGH's business even was doing well was because he was using CHJ's authority and resources which was illegal. But I am glad that YGH finally realized that he was wrong and that the only person that thought XCS & YGH were competing was YGH. XCS always thought of him as a friend

🤣🤣 I feel that is probably the case right now. his plan is to make her miserable just like he is - especially since he has been snapping at her more often compared to before.

I think the reason he didnt divorce HHL is because he wanted to have the pretty wife. I remember once scene he was like "oh but my wife is the prettiest". It's like for him HHL is a prize that he won and he just wants everyone to know that his wife is pretty but if he divorces her well that is gone.

I thought he didn't and the only reason he did it was because LSY was like I will tell u were she is. And the reason why he called LSY was because he wanted to inform him that he wasn't going to go to USA to escape but instead look for his wife. Because all Heizi said was "going to Hong Kong" & LSY was like oh so ur going to go after ur ex wife & Heizi hung up. So I assumed LSY told him where she was - which I doubt she is even in Hong Kong. He probably gave him false information. Probably still some where in China.

I think YGH should definitely make a shrine for XCS. Even though HHL might still love the guy - YGH mentions/thinks about him more than Xiaomei probably does. XCS living in his head rent free at this point. Didn't see each other for 10 years but all he thought about during those 10 years was XCS lol.

I understand that - that there is a difference between QT & YGH with the financial aspect. But in general when it comes to how HHL treats them it is the same. She treats them both like she needs them but doesnt love them - she is grateful for the attention and the resources and help they can provide her but not once did she think otherwise. And I mean all that time YGH & HHL were together at the army & YGH constantly helping her out. Not once did she fall in love with YGH. I mean the girl went to the ice rink hoping to seduce XCS again.

I think at that point YGH should have been smart enough to realize that no matter what he could offer her - she will never love him. Dude drove for miles to get her a vaccine & all she could think about was XCS. If that doesn't scream NO LOVE than YGH is just dumb

So glad they pressed charges - I feel if he didn't that just makes their company look soft and would open the gateways of allowing other people to also steal secrets and ruin the company in a sense. And I think they shouldnt even have thought about it and jsut called the cops on him. What he did was wrong because he sold out his brother that he already ruined his business once and now he is doing it again after he got him a job when he got out of prison -_-. If that was me I would have gone to the prison just to throw tomatoes at him not to give him a job lol.

Heizi a weird one. Why would QT go against XCS - QT is actually grateful unlike some people and he married to his sister -_-. That isn't going to go well at home if he does do that. Now in my mind I feel he did it for money but also because he wanted to see his ex wife again and thought LSY knew where she was (which we know he doesnt). But idk why he didnt just go to XCS or QT - they have more money compared to LSY and could help him. And we know he isnt prideful because he took a job offered by the same people he ruined.

It was a hilarious moment though - mainly due to YGH's reaction lol. Dude had me crying with his statements and his face lol. He was so embarassed.

I would agree but he had a great example of how that wouldn't have worked with HHL - and that is QT. He also did the same thing that YGH was doing - taking care of her and loving her and giving her everything she wanted. But not once did she think of QT like that. So, idk why he would think he would be different.

It's like what that snake LSY was telling YGH. Yea he worded the contract and his machines aren't upto standard but YGH was never in favor of working with LSY. But the only reason YGH signed with LSY was so they could get one over on XCS and make him lose -_-. LSY just gave him a little push - the only reason his company is failing is because he didn't think what was good for his company but how he can make XCS lose -_-. They worse than children.

Right? The man saved his life and not in a figurative way but in the literal sense & he just ignored that or erased that from his memory. The only thing he could think about is how HHL doesnt love him and still loves XCS - and he thinks that might have changed if he said he was YGH first. And its like. . .he doesn't know that to be the case. Just because u change one thing doesn't mean it will become the way u think it will. It might still end up that HHL falls for XCS. Instead maybe he should hate himself for tellign XCS to have a fair competition for HHL.

But clearly he just wants to blame XCS for everything wrong in his life or 1 up. It is crazy how that haven't moved on and still jealous. I forgot so many things from my childhood its crazy - but they remember such tiny details. Weirdos for sure

I think YGH kept on thinking that he could turn HHL around and make her love him but I guess the pregnancy was that final sign that no matter what he did she wouldn't love him. Since she wasn't willing to even tell him about the pregnancy.

I just don't understand why he let it get that far. Was it just so he could win over XCS that yea at least I married her.
