I would agree but he had a great example of how that wouldn't have worked with HHL - and that is QT. He also did the same thing that YGH was doing - taking care of her and loving her and giving her everything she wanted. But not once did she think of QT like that. So, idk why he would think he would be different.

It's like what that snake LSY was telling YGH. Yea he worded the contract and his machines aren't upto standard but YGH was never in favor of working with LSY. But the only reason YGH signed with LSY was so they could get one over on XCS and make him lose -_-. LSY just gave him a little push - the only reason his company is failing is because he didn't think what was good for his company but how he can make XCS lose -_-. They worse than children.

Right? The man saved his life and not in a figurative way but in the literal sense & he just ignored that or erased that from his memory. The only thing he could think about is how HHL doesnt love him and still loves XCS - and he thinks that might have changed if he said he was YGH first. And its like. . .he doesn't know that to be the case. Just because u change one thing doesn't mean it will become the way u think it will. It might still end up that HHL falls for XCS. Instead maybe he should hate himself for tellign XCS to have a fair competition for HHL.

But clearly he just wants to blame XCS for everything wrong in his life or 1 up. It is crazy how that haven't moved on and still jealous. I forgot so many things from my childhood its crazy - but they remember such tiny details. Weirdos for sure

I think YGH kept on thinking that he could turn HHL around and make her love him but I guess the pregnancy was that final sign that no matter what he did she wouldn't love him. Since she wasn't willing to even tell him about the pregnancy.

I just don't understand why he let it get that far. Was it just so he could win over XCS that yea at least I married her. Because we all witnessed what she did in the ice rink - he knew that she still loved XCS. He wasn't stupid. Like I feel YGH just wanted HHL but didn't care if she loved him or not.

Omg tht conversation in the car with YGH & HHL actually made me laugh lol. YGH really would never talked to HHL like that 30 years ago lol.

He was like the little girl's eyes were saying that u were crazy lol. . . .I was like YGH speaking the truth to his wife that he loved lol. Everyone in that room thought she was crazy too.

Oh she is definitely selfish at times. I think she has always thought of herself - which isnt a bad thing of course but people should also keep other peoples feelings into consideration which she clearly doesn't.

I think HHL has realized that her youth has ended and her beauty is not what it once was and she hasn't achieved what she wanted in life. Yes she married a rich man and had a great home but clearly for her she wanted something more or something else.

I just think YGH & HHL should have never gotten married. YGH tried too hard to make HHL fall for him but she was never able to. I think when HHL went on the ice rink with her old outfit in an attempt to seduce XCS - he should have been like yup this is a lost cause & didn't marry her. Idk why YGH even married her after seeing that. It was weird to me.

I actually never seen the drama but yea its like u sometimes unconsciously still do something because u can't get over the person. But I do think she did it on purpose - it was probably hard to find new skates from the 70s without her looking around for it lol.

YGH getting slapped with karma the moment he said "u deserve this" was really satisfying. The fact he remembers a past event like that is so weird while XCS doesn't even comment on it and still warns him not to do business with that snake LSY.

I understand YGH probably replayed that scene many times in his head - thinking what if I stepped up and said it was me & XCS didn't help. But him dwelling on the past prevented him from moving forward which never allowed him to be happy. U can't change 1 event no matter what - yes multiple times I have pondered on "what if I did this instead of that" but when u make it all about that it just keeps u stagnant in life. And even if he did admit he was YGH that doesn't automatically mean HHL would have fallen in love with him. She fell for XCS because he was XCS - he had the charisma that she was attracted to. YGH was nothing like that. But in his head he just keeps thinking "what if".

XCS could have easily been like "if I didn't save ur life I wouldn't have been unable to walk and left my dream in the army". It's easy to play the what if and blame game but some people need to move on. And YGH should have let it go the moment XCS saved his life but instead he seemed to hate him more.

THANK YOU! QT calling the cops on Heizi - so happy for that. Dude kept on betraying people because he thought he could just get away with it. XCS gave him a job at his business after the stuff he pulled and he still turned around and backstabbed him again. That man gave him a job - and he was doing well. And he returns the favor by stealing his company secrets -_-.

Some people take the "friendship" thing a little too far. That is why people walk all over those friends.

I am going to miss this show when it finishes airing in 2 days. Will enjoy rewatching it though. It was fun!

idk if she was being mean or if she just was trying to see if she had a chance or not. I mean her life isn't what she thought it would be. So, of course, she wants to better it and maybe she thought the person who once loved her maybe still cares for her.

Idk when YGH gave up but being with someone for 10 years means at least he cared for a little bit during that time and slowly his feelings faded.

I think the only reason their relationship would have been better if they were in the military is probably because HHL had something to do. But I don't think she would have still loved YGH. U could kind of see it with the way they talked to each other. It felt very formal - with absolutely no romance or hint of affection between them. They never held hands or put their head on someones shoulder. It felt like it was business

I don't think they are evil just bad choices and bad friends lol. And have a tendency to get jealous really easily.

Ummm that might be an idea. She just doing this so she can have an excuse to finally divorce YGH lol. I mean I doubt it since she can divorce him whenever but it definitely is a possibility.

Just think it is embarassing to do that during a 10 year olds party. At least do it when no one is looking.

I think YGH isn't even evil like CHJ (that dude is scum!). But YGH definitely has way too many flaws that u wouldn't categorize him as evil but definitely someone u wouldn't want to be friends with lol.

I do really like Liu Rui Lin who plays YGH though. I think he is doing an amazing job playing that character. The way him and Xiao Zhan looked at each other after seeing each other for so long. I could feel what kind of emotions they were feeling. I mean I know XIao Zhan is already really good. but LRL is impressing me.

OH PLEASE DONT. Don't say that. Xiaomei will be perfectly healthy and hopefully HHL will get divorced and will try to find a way to move on or at least try to get some satisfaction from life.

I think she did try with YGH but just couldn't. I just don't think YGH was someone she was ever attracted to - if she could fall in love with him she would have tried it when she was choosing between YGH & XCS. But YGH was always the type she was okay with getting favors from but never thought about him as anything else. If YGH wasn't so persistent - HHL would have never married him.

I mean even in the 10 years that YGH never saw XCS and neither did HHL - she still was unable to get over him. I also think that is enough time for HHL to at least try to fall in love with YGH. But nothing! Some people are just not meant for one another. A lot of married couples who got arranged marriages - just don't see eye to eye but because they have kids they are able to at least bear each other. And that is all a kid would have done for them.

Rofl . . . .I really hope she divorces YGH so she can just move on already. I don't even know how they stayed together for so long. Jsut feels like they both are miserable at this point in time.

Going to keep it real. I changed my opinion on HHL - yes I think she was wrong with how she treated XCS and she could have been kinder and been more understanding of his situation. But all she wanted was to follow her dreams. I can't fault her for that. I blame YGH more because he knew she never loved him but still wanted to marry him. She went to an ice rink dressed like the 1975 HHL right after she declared they were going to get married in the hopes of getting XCS back (she a bit crazy though lol). And he still married her. He knew what she was doing.

But overall she has never done anything really morally wrong. Not loving ur husband isn't really bad or not falling out of love with ur ex because u were unable to move on. It just means she made wrong choices in her life but not bad like CHJ/LSY/Heizi and YGH.

Yea its a spoiler for tonights episode lol. I was actually going to find ur comment and be like SEE she hasn't given up on XCS lol. Filled with regrets!!

I had a feeling she wasn't over him because she never got to fall in love with someoen else so that feeling of love was always there. And also XCS never did anything wrong to her so she couldn't even hate him. Like with Heizi and his wife - he was a wife beater so it was super easy for her to move on. But with HHL those feelings just remained. That is why I think her biggest regret is marrying YGH because if she just allowed herself to move forward without him she would have still been able to play the violin and maybe down the line find someone she could love again and be able to move on. But the only time she knew what love felt like was when she was with XCS - so she can never move on.

I think the reason why she wanted to get pregnant again is also because she just wanted to love someone. I think HHL at this point just wants someone to love - in a way I feel bad for her because she isn't a bad character. She followed her dreams and listened to those around her into believing that YGH would be her best choice. And sadly it didn't work out because she has all the money but no love, no child & her dreams of playing the violin are gone.

She should change her color already - starting to get embarassing! Its a 10 year olds birthday party man! Like time & place much!

Poor YGH! I am starting to feel for the man. She really embarassed herself at a 10 year olds birthday party. Like what was she expecting to happen? Like he was going to remove his wedding band and tell her that he wants to be with her -_-? Girl going crazy or being with YGH is making her crazy lol.
