Oh good thing u told me what episode u r - cause I might have spoiled certain things lol. I thnk the pacing of the drama is pretty good so I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get caught until the 30ish episodes. According to the summary on this page the professor is going to have a scandal so that might happen soonish as well. But Jiahui clearly doesn't care who he has to use to be able to get that file. He got He Dun's seniors license suspended and he was having an affair with her - the man must really hate the professor to go to these lengths.

Right? Isn't he just a great character lol. I understand he had mistakes but to be honest I felt it was more He Dun's fault that Kaiyi. Such as him calling her by the pet name - he didn't know it was a nickname for her brother and not her but she got angry at the poor guy over a situation he had no intel on. Overall, he has been really sweet & tries his best to not hurt He Dun - like yes he made a mistake in high school but recently he has been only good to her.

Personally, I think he wants neither. I think he was using He Dun's senior to try to get information out of her and when she was unable to accomplish that he dumped her quick. Like in the beginning the senior was asking the Professor for a file - clearly she wanted it for Jiahui but was unable to obtain it. I think Jiahui than went after He Dun because he believes she has the file that he wants - and all these weird things he is doing is just a way to get closer to her so he can get closer to that file. Hence why he broke into her office and started looking through stuff.

In the end I just think he is trying to get revenge on the professor and using his pupils to get it - since he seems to have an entire board dedicated to him. He Dun, sadly, is just in the crossfires.

Well, I knew it was good. I just thought I could wait & I did after watching upto episode 3 lol. But than episode 4 came out & I just couldn't anymore. I feel like it was because of Kaiyi that I was like u know what I need to see more of him lol.

Jiahui gave bad vibes since after he got saved lol - but I really hope the Professor isn't the father of Jiahui. I know thats where it might be leaning but I hope the drama doesn't do that- give him a better story than a scorned son that wants revenge on a father that abandoned him. ---- Yea, I know they gave out information about He Dun having a brother but I feel like Jiahui can't be it. Idk because when he was talking to He Dun's mother it didn't feel like he was filled with emotion of finally seeing his mother (or even anger of maybe being abandoned) but more like HA HA I have obtained my objective - if that makes sense lol. And I also feel like he could just be friends if he was her brother - why try to make it romantic it just feels weird than. So, I am going to say they are not related (and I hope it stays that way lol).

I am in love with Kaiyi's character. All the moments he got jealous got me cheesing over him lol. Like the first time He Dun came to his place of work and she was chatting with some random in the lobby. Kaiyi is watching them and comes up and just screams that He Dun is his girl lol. Like HUH? Dude, they were just talking - there was no form of flirting going on lol. I feel like at that moment he didn't know he was in love with her but that jealous moment just popped out lol.

I have updated myself upto episode 12 and so far so great lol. The pacing is great - I love the individual stories of each of He Dun's clients as well. The main thing is that none of them have a Hannibal Lectar like disorder instead its all normal day to day kind of disorders that any typical person can get. Things such as stress from family, believing that ur loved ones will leave u, etc. but yet they make it interesting enough that u care about their story & how they are going to resolve it.

I am also in love with Qian Kaiyi - Jing Boran is doing a really good job being playful & just being very dense lol. I still don't know how this man didn't understand that He Dun liked him and not his friend after that conversation they had lol - like both He Dun and her friend are looking at him like wow this man really doesn't get it huh? Clearly he needed it spelled out for him lol - but thats why I love his whacky character lol.

Now for Ye Jiahui - this character is a very great (kind of) villain. He reminds me of Moriarty from Sherlock Holmes. Especially the way he manipulates situations and is like several steps ahead of people at times & this man never sweats. When he was copying He Dun's phone - he didn't show panic when it was taking time to download his stalker like app lol even when he saw He Dun coming closer. And the way he is able to put He Dun's defenses down by just a few words. He Dun is smart but u can clearly tell that Ye Jiahui knows what he is doing with the words & actions he chooses - like he doesn't go overboard or make it seem like he wants her to trust him. He subtly says things or does things that make people question that maybe he doesn't have other kind of motives. Like yes, as a viewer I know this man is a stalker & has his motives but he doesn't let He Dun know that. He doesn't act like a stalker in front of her - u don't see him constantly going to her or blowing up her phone to see her like a typical stalker would or someone that needs something from someone (which clearly he does - he probably wants that file). Instead he creates opportuntiies that make her come to him and from there he tries to build a better relationship and make her put her defenses down - I feel like this is probably what he did with He Dun's colleague that he got fired for having relationships with as a patient. But Ye Jiahui is definitely an interesting character and I am definitely intrigued to find out why he has an issue with He Dun's professor.

Ahhh, the relationship between He Dun & Qian Kaiyi is just PERFECT. The entire elevator scene had me cheesing so hard - I found it so cute lol. Something about Qian Kaiyi's character just makes him so enjoyable to watch. I would even say every character in this drama is written really well and acted well by the actors that play them.

Getting rid of those anti accounts is great. But sadly those 20+ accounts I mentioned were idols/celebs that were suspended for 30 or 60 days. And most of them got suspended because of irrational fan support but from what I heard most of the activities happened before the August 25th rules were implemented.

Which means people reported those accounts & they were punished for not following the rules BEFORE the rules were implemented. Which I find SUPER unfair - why punish somoene when they didn't even know the rules. But that's how crazy it is right now. People are maliciously reporting others to bring them down :/. Hence why people want to stay low key until it blows over.

After seeing almost 20+ accounts getting suspended on weibo yesterday - its making more sense to delay the drama. Promotion would have to be minimal to nonexistent if they released it now. The cleanup the government is doing is no joke. I hear douban is next - so clearly they aren't finished.

Yup. That is why I am okay with the delay because the cancel culture right now that is happening is crazy. Best to not poke the bear & just wait it out until things cool down. So yea just like u said just have to remember its postponed not cancelled.

If I am not mistaken YAMG finished airing before the government clean up happened which was on August 25. So, yes they should be perfectly fine. It's only dramas being aired after August 25 that are being a little wary of the situation & don't want to get in trouble with the government.

Has to do with how popular it is. OOL will go on the hot search which is great for promotions & getting the word out but not during a time when the government has their eyes open. If there is any issues that happen around OOL than the government will quickly sweep in & take it down. And sadly that means if a big enough group makes noise they can cause trouble - any put OOL in a bad situation.

Right now, I don't believe there is any super popular dramas (A ranked or higher) that are out because no one wants their big dramas to take a hit or getting in the path of the government clean up.

Agreed. Disappointed for sure but just have to wait until they finish with all their new rules & regulations. We don't want OOL getting into trouble - with how popular it is it will definitely get a lot of attention (even unwanted).

I mean it's definitely a bit scary lately with all the new regulations. I have seen so many dramas being taken down last week from all platforms (and very popular ones also) and actors being punished. I find the new rules a bit unfair but sadly we can't do much about it but wait. So, I understand the delay but definitely disappointed 😭. I doubt they would want to release a drama where they can't even promote or allow it to be on the hot search.

Before the September 8 date was announced this page was filled with comments hoping it would come & just believing any date that was given.

When the announcement was made - page was filled with people being excited (like myself) & happy that its finally being released.

Now with it being delayed, even if a new date gets released - I probably won't believe it until I see the first episode. They won't get me a 2nd time! (hopefully, lol)
