I read the reviews and first-day repos of his play A Dream like a Dream. This play has been in theatres since…
Very well said. Reading most of the reviews from professionals & the audience members they all have stated he did a great job. And doing an 8 hour play, like u said, must be so exhausting because u have to stay in character the entire time. And if u make a mistake - u can't really go back & redo that scene so everything must be perfect on the first take.
He has 8 more cities to go - and hopefully all of them go well & provide him more opportunities in the future.
He needs to change company urgently, how come he receives only 1/5 of his fees the other 4/5 goes to his company
He tried leaving his company back in 2019 but it didn't work out. However, he was able to establish his own studio which allowed him to be his own boss & pick the scripts he wants. We don't know about how his salary is structured & how much his company receives. But it probably is better than what he went through before 2019 where he only got 1/5 or else he wouldn't have settled with them outside the courts.
His company is absolutely trash though - no one likes them. They have been known to deliberately ruin his career by cancelling his variety show appearances & not giving him any resources. All the dramas he has appeared in was because of his own hard work or people recommending him for the role.
Enjoyed the watching Netflix's Sherlock Holmes series with Benedict Cumberbatch as lead and thought Xiao zhan…
I also really love the Sherlock Holmes series with Cumberbatch - a very good watch. Did a very good job making Sherlock Holmes modern but still staying true to the source (to an extent).
I agree I would also love to see Xiao Zhan play a detective like role - I believe he would do a great job & look amazing portraying that kind of role.
I have found this in reddithttps://www.reddit.com/r/ProduceCamp2021/comments/mef956/the_thing_with_yetao/
Ahhh thanks for this. It makes sense now after I read it. I tend to forget that voting through the app makes a small perventage of votes - the bulk of it depends on getting funds to buy the endorsed yogurt which is like 10 votes/bottle.
I guess his fandom just can't afford to get as many funds as the others - hence why his ranking is so low. Hopefully, he can get by the last elimination round if nothing else - just think it will be impossible for him to make it to the top 11.
I don't understand why Hu Ye Tao's ranking is so low & always decreasing. He is very talented & was pretty popular before the first show (it was stated he had a certain following before he started the show). I don't understand the voting/ranking sometimes.
It was so heart wrenching when I first saw him with his new hair cut. Especially when u know from his first appearance he stated how a lot of people online talked about his appearance & how his long hair didn't match the image of a boy group. And the fact he still cut it just so he could continue his journey on this show. It made me believe that he cut it because he knew he was talented but because of his hair he didn't have that many fans :/ (at least that's how I saw it - idk if this is actually what he believed). -- I hope more people can see that he is talented & deserves a higher spot.
I am very happy, though, that Bo Yuan made it to the top 11 :D! The fact he never gave up is such a great story - I really hope he remains in the top 11. Let people believe, regardless of age, u can still accomplish ur dream. His tenacity & hard work is just impeccable & hope people continue to see that.
I think its an estimate - probably won't know until its finished with production. But I think their initial guess…
There is a rule that limits the # of episodes but I believe its only if u want it to be broadcasted on television. So, max # of episodes for tv broadcasting is 40.
However, if its just a web drama & will not be on tv than I believe u can have more than 40 episodes but the max is 49. Because, like u said, they do want to limit the filler episodes & increase the quality of the dramas.
So, that is why Douluo Continent had 40 episodes because it was aired on CCTV - a tv broadcasting station. But, the Wolf was only a web drama so it was able to have 49.
I am pretty sure for the rule of TV broadcasting dramas limit to be 40 - but for the web dramas having to be 49 I am not 100% sure of. I could be wrong & they could be allowed more but I just haven't seen a drama recently released that has more than 49. However, they can surprass this rule if they break their drama into 2 parts - like some dramas have done. They just call it season 1 & 2.
I hope they follow the original work and don't change too much.
Ahh, well sadly this will be more of a loose adaptation than a pure adaptation. Hence, the reason for the different name compared to the novel (Long Ballad for the drama while novel it is called Zhu Yan).
They are letting people know beforehand that this drama will not be 100% like the novel - so they should be prepared for the changes. Hopefully u will still be able to enjoy it :).
No one knows lol. Some people love it, others perfer the old one & then there are some who want a different pic.…
Yup I was thinking the same thing lol. Thats why I hesitated to change it - because even though some people don't like it there might be a good chunk that actually do. And like u said it was just recently changed - so don't want to constantly keep going back & fourth. Maybe see what the majority of the people want & then make a decision.
No one knows lol. Some people love it, others perfer the old one & then there are some who want a different pic. But for now its the pic we have - & I feel its just difficult to find a good ID type pic to replace that one.
I occassionally drop by this page just to read comments by new viewers (& old viewers when they do post) just to see what their outlook is of the drama. I find it interesting how so many people have different theories or perspective about a certain scene that I never thought of before.
I think its an estimate - probably won't know until its finished with production. But I think their initial guess is 50 episodes - so definitely something around that ball park. Maybe more or less - who knows lol.
And not to forget new endorsements in middle.... All the way too busy ... Exactly how he likes it to be...
Yes but a little too busy lol. I have heard of people doing a male lead & a supporting lead on the side. But doing 2 lead roles at the same time just seems insane - I would probably be tired from just 1 lol. Glad, though, that he is getting these opportunities.
I hope Xiao Zhan is able to rest during these next few weeks. He has to film for his role Shi Ying & he is the main lead for the play "A Dream Like a Dream". The amount of lines he is going to have to memorize & then practice - its going to be strenuous.
He has 8 more cities to go - and hopefully all of them go well & provide him more opportunities in the future.
His company is absolutely trash though - no one likes them. They have been known to deliberately ruin his career by cancelling his variety show appearances & not giving him any resources. All the dramas he has appeared in was because of his own hard work or people recommending him for the role.
Sadly he is stuck with them until 2026.
I agree I would also love to see Xiao Zhan play a detective like role - I believe he would do a great job & look amazing portraying that kind of role.

Shi Ying is written as 时影
The character 影 in the name means shadow.
Hence, why in Xiao Zhan's picture u see his shadow.
Zhu Yan is written as 朱颜
The character 颜 in the name means face.
Which is why Ren Min's picture u see her face being viewed through the mirror.
I thought it was kind of cool with how they did that.
