I'm just glad this is supposed to be completely different from the comics, because I've had the title bookmarked…
Well, I had other things to take care of, so I had to put it off, but I've just finished the film... and it's okay. I heard that the comics are pretty ultra-violent and realistic, so I was surprised that this set a comical kind of tone for the violence (but at least did so from the offset). Actually, since I hate realistic violence in films, I was glad... but also a bit disappointed. I'm not sure what I wanted, but the almost slapstick take on gang fights wasn't it.
Overall, it was a decent enough film but it's never going to be anybody's new favourite.
I'm just glad this is supposed to be completely different from the comics, because I've had the title bookmarked years already and never gotten around to starting it!
I can devote 2 hours to this kind of OTT feature pretty much any evening I happen to have 2 hours free and I'm in the mood for a film. I might just watch it now...

I LOVE THIS! I pretty much despise (anti) social media and the amount of egotistical, obnoxious fakers it spawns. The fact that some people earn money from being pretentious and unreal, whilst selling the "ideal life" to others - thus making them discontent with their own lives - makes me seethe.
So, yeah, when she finds her character to be "detestable", she's won a fan!
I read all the manga of this game/genre... (I quickly looked it up and it's called, JINRU GAME) These comics could get insanely dark, so be warned! But the overall premise was solid and I recall noticing a couple of Japanese films made based on subject, since it's an actual game.
Either Netflix's license on the product expired... or it was so terrible that it was pulled.
Kind of like how Disney did with Willow?
P.S. I did write a lengthy comment on why I hated this... but it seems to have been removed. Perhaps someone complained because, at some point, I used the word, S-H-!-T?
Pretentious, stupid and plain bad, I dropped this around 5 minutes into the 2nd episode!
Everyone goes on about Korea this and Korea that, but the majority of their TV series I've attempted to watch have been truly dismal! This is another example.
It starts out trying to be al artistic, has a completely pointless opening 15 minutes (which features a totally unrealistic fight scene) and then fast forwards, making the entire opening pretty much defunct! Cue some praise-worthy '90s style HK action in yet another ridiculous setting - none of which even remotely makes sense - while a boring TV interview takes place at the same time, and it's clear that the writing and directing departments behind this are SHIT... but at least the stunt team makes a good effort (yes, I say this despite the earlier nonsensical tae kwon do battle).
To be honest, there was zero in the 1st episode to justify this moving beyond the pilot stage - let alone getting a full 16 episodes - but, hungry and hopeful, I tried the 2nd episode. A shame that the over-shot, overly long pretentious crap continued and I didn't even make it past the woman getting out of the road.
Also, how the Hell does Korea always seem to find the absolute worst white actors?
I didn't like this but - if you can get past the annoying music in the 1st episode - Your Name was good and featured…
A lot of viewers both on MDL and elsewhere were REALLY upset or even fuming over a particular event, but I saw how it was necessary to set up the finale.
Weak Hero has a terrible start but soon gets kind of in line with the comics and is good for it.
Death's Game was better than the comics and well worth your time.
Hell was enjoyable.
D.P. means something entirely different if you have a nasty porn habit, but the Korean series is SUPPOSED to be great (I've not seen it, so I can't recommend 1st hand). Oh, and now I see it's already been recommended above...
Kingdom is enjoyable (the zombies are more of a backdrop than the actual story).
This was damn good though - very, very fast-paced (truly, a nightmare to keep up with the subs though).

You've reminded me to try the films. Thanks.
EDIT: Apologies: JINROU Game.
I also deleted the multi-posts.
"@Winter Why would you argue with someone else's opinion?
You liked it, I hated it. The End."
So who's dragging out the argument?
Is it better than Tokyo Revengers (https://chapmanganato.to/manga-ax977806)?

Often in isekais, the MC dies and goes to another world... in this he dies and goes back to the past.
So, is it any good?
Not my favourite (sub)genre... I'll wait for some positive comments.
800 year old dude falls for... TEENAGE GIRL?
Yeah... nah! Not for me.

My same mate also recommended, Uncanny Encounter.
Save your time by not even bothering with this trash: https://kisskh.at/722071-ransom
I don't know if you like Japanese stuff, but AVOID Alice in Borderland.
I prefer films to series, so if you want some recommendations there, I'll be of more help.
